3PointMan
Where did you get swamp toads? I have every other second except toads. I'm willing to trade you some granite for toads. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt206/samtheninja/Tags/FEARLESStag.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy156/song4thedeaf/stuff.png what i'm doing now: https://linktr.ee/student1

JoeDaStudd
1. What other good familiars will I gain access to then? I really don't know what to use *summoning noob!*. I hear titans are always good, but their scrolls are expensive. All I know is that yip and pony = best.........2. Without selling or trading back shards. I have no idea how much I'll make back off bogrog with trading in after the weekend, or how much I'll make by selling some back. 1. Theres a lot of helpful familiars. Lava titan is the best firemaking and mining familiar. Geyser titan is amazingly powerful and really speeds up the time on multi combat tasks (yes go for as high a summoning level as you can afford).Hydra is great for WC and in truth theres a lot of helpful ones in those extra 20 levels.2. 70% of the shards back and the formula for the level required is ciel(lvl+(11-(lvl/10))) Swamp titans are much better exp and its defiantly worth switching to asap as it really adds up and saves a lot of time in the long run. The thing is everyone is trying to max there exp and getting as many seconds as possible so its worth spending a few minutes a day gathering raw bird and raw rabbit then trade them for other seconds as well as just keeping your GE offers up-to-date [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
Ezkaton
I turned my visage into a DFS (thank you 87 smithing and spicy stew) and sold it for 35m (added a little loot from slayer tasks I had accumulated), netting me a nice amount of money and a nice 4k exp (used sc hammer :D) Anyways, 3PointMan, My 5k Toads came through on GE for med price surprisingly. The unicorn seems like an extremely nice idea this weekend, however I'm going to resist temptation and only spend the 11m or so on granite lobs (idk how much I'll get back, I'll probably pop a calculation in here or so for you to check). Also I seem to be thinking that I may get to about 85-86 summoning. I'm still not sure if it's worth spending the first hours or so doing my 5k barkers to get to 78/79 summoning then doing the granite lobs to get to 85 or so. Or whether to do the whole mith minos to 78, granite lobs to 85 or so then barkers for the next bit. Not too sure how far either method will get me. So please can I have opinions on what's best? 1. What level is geyser titan? And what titans are best for combat that I'll be gaining access to?2. I don't quite understand that formula so I'll see what else I can figure out. Would you also say to sell the shards back to a geezer like pikkupstiks as the GE will be flooded with them soon enough. And I guess that when I get to the level I will in the end using whichever out of the 2 methods stated above I'll only have a little bit of money to get to get me to 88 summoning. So it's no big deal what with me being 80K odd from 85 slayer. If worst comes to worst, I'll become the thing I hate most and just sit and camp abby demons. Drazhor
You loved my little idea to make the visage into dfs and sell it. Told you I'd make you get wood. But yeah, once you get uni; we're goign gwd or something :P I won't have one like but stil be useful enough ;)And also don't forget the charms you'll get between now and next weekend too  Visit my blog! Ezkaton
Right here's the plan: 1. Non stop slayer until the weekend. This will maximise my charms and stuff. I will devote Wednesday and Thursday next week to DIY summoning 2nds to make sure that any difference I have from the charms stated on the first page is covered.2. Instead of herblore first to get to about 65 or 70, I will do my tree run, then straight to summoning with no time to lose.3. 5K+ Barker Toads over the first hours will score me 78/79 Summoning4. 2K+ Granite Lobs over the 2nd and 3rd hour will score me 82/83/84 summoning or there abouts.5. 365 Lava Titans over the hours after that will score me 86/87 slayer. Bare in mind that I just ran these calcs through the tip.it summoning planner and it came out with 83/85 summoning by doing all of these things WITHOUT the exp bonus. So I should be well within my goal of 88 summoning.I wont be using my greens as they are too costly and expensive tbf. 6. If I don't make it to 88 summoning then I'm sure I'll get the loot and charms for the pony within a month seeing as I'm majorly powerslaying. This method will only cost me ~6m if I trade in the granite lobs and don't sell the lavas. Any final words people have to say before this plan is cemented in my bank? Or any final tweaks to my plan like monsters to summon etc? jsboutin2
I'd switch to granite lobbies as soon as you hit 74, then to Titans once you hit 83, then finishing your crims and finally your golds, in order to maximise xp. I think greens are too costly if you make fruit bats, just turn bones to bananas if you can't buy bananas. Or make bunyips, which are used a lot, meaning they will eventually sell. EDIT: Or maybe make unis for your own use when you hit 88?
anonymouse_
just a thought...you could collect your own toads. That would take forever. I did 1 trip with a terrorbird and it seemed extremely slow. Your best bet would be to put up offers for other 2nds in GE and then trade them in for toads. After about a week you should have a good amount. Or you could just mine granite (~700/hr) and trade it in for toads...let the noobs and bots collect them

But yes, I admit gathering 5k of them would take a day or so.

And then barker toads again to hit 83 or so, then my titans when I get there?Obviously it'll take less time for me to get to 74 summoning so therefore it will maximise my exp; but could you help do some rough calcs as to how much it could increase it by? And yea, I'll probably make myself some yips and ponys when I can. I still have a goal of 90 fishing to get sometime soon, so why not fish a couple of sharks and make my slayer a bit more self sufficient? In order to maximize your exp, you got to do the bigger ones the sooner you can. If you keep doing your barker toads after 74, you'll be missing some bonus xp on crimsons, thus reaching 83 later, meaning less xp on your lava titans. The same reasonning applies if you were talking about the level 79 titans... Your 2,5x will be much better used on your crims than on your golds/greens. And on your blues than on your crims. I would not reccomend doing bunyip, the market will probably be saturated with them after those days anyway, and the xp difference with hydras is quite huge, I believe, especially with a multiplier. Ezkaton
OK then, plan update time: 1. Non stop slayer until middle of next week. This will maximise my charms and stuff. Good enough and more varied. If you get lucky with drops you could do some bursting.2. You choice3. Depends on how many charms you amass, if you have over 4k of crimsons I would just do gold and greens before the weekend. Yes know I said differently before, but that was based on you not getting a lot of extra charms.4. See what level the greens and golds get you. Might be more then you'd think, those crimsons are aweful nice so if you amass a lot of them just keep using them until you run out.5. You might have a far few more (bork is 5 per day and you have about 10 days so thats atleast 50 more), but lava titans are the best given the extreme cost of water talismans.6. Post back (either here or a new thread) next Wednesday. You'll have a lot more charms and should be easier to plan for you getting 88+ (I would guess its possible to get nearer 89+ if you work it right). Ps. Sorry about not replying sooner I was waiting to see what the update would bring to the field as I was half expecting a summoning tweak or atleast a tweak to some of the raw materials. jsboutin2
On your third point, however, he needs to make sure that he reaches 74, however. I agree it'd be better if he only used golds, but since hydras rake in a lot of xp, it might be worse... This weekend sure brings a lot of questions...
