Ok so i reallllly want a gs and i've started herb runs while slaying to make money.

I need to know the average amount of herbs in a patch of a few different kinds of herbs.

Avantoe

I will be using magic secs which i know can get me extras but i just want to know the average per patch, no extras from secs.

Lowest you can get without secs: 4

Lowest with secs: 5

 

My personal average without secs is 5.5, with them it's closer to 6.3. Different people seem to have different rates though.

Realistically, I get about 5 or 6 per patch because some patches die :(

I heard using fertile soil (lunar spellbook) increases your herbs/patch. can't confirm this but you should try it.

I've averaged 6.805 herbs per patch over the last 770 patches. This is including deaths while using supercompost and the Trollheim patch which cannot die.

Herbs received is actually somewhat based on herblore level. Personally, I average 6.5-7 with mid-70s in farming on Lantadymes.

Based on herblore level or farming level? You said herblore and mentioned your farm level.

 

I've seen the little tip that the objective planner gives that says that higher farming level increases yield, but I'm personally a little weary about it. If anything, the average might increase by 1 from the point you can first grow an herb to level 99. I certainly haven't noticed a large difference between level 32 and 81 for ranarrs.

If you plant enough seeds, I can confirm you'll average 6.8 herbs per allotment.

With magic secateurs, expect a 6.5-7 herbs per patch if you use the Trollheim patch as well. I personally am experiencing a ~7 herbs average right now.

Yea the 6.8 average is without trollheim and without curing :) They aren't added in statistics :P

Yeah 6.7 herbs per patch sounds about right. Make sure you're using magic secateurs and the my arms patch. Im also fairly certain that farming level has no effect on your herb yield.

According to Jagex it has an effect to the yield but people started statistics and the increase would be smaller than 0.001 herb /patch /level that you would barely get 1 extra herb at a level :P

 

But officially there's an increase ;-)

Farming level increases your Max Yield from a patch, doesn't mean the chance to get there increases.

 

As stated above, expect 6-7 herbs per seed.
