Enigma heads to the Duty HQ instead, checking if it is okay.

[Earth]

i rush to te bunker, and stabity stab anything in my way with kattana and machete (within reason, acorse.)

Enigma:

You have no clue on the location of the duty HQ. However, you go to their main base in the sector. Everything looks normal, with patrols walking around and everyone carrying out their business.

 

Earth:

As you charge the zombies, you see a light begin flashing on the ecologist bunker, followed by a siren. Suddenly, several panels open up revealing automated turrets, which gun down all of the zombies within seconds.

[Retech]

Kimako prances back to the Duty base, and asks for a squad of men to drive out the renegades from their headquarters. She also asks for heavy-DUTY (hehe) weapons and armor for the fight.

[Seraphi]

Enigma goes back to the Ecologist base, and grabs equipment from the zombies if possible. He throws a rock to check if the turrets shoot at anything, or just zombies.

 

If they shoot at just zombies, he goes inside.

Håkon asks ecologists for another assignement.

[Earth]

i jaunt inside, then ask the ecologists why they sent him and his freinds into a death trap.

Kimako:

The duty commander tells you, "I don't have any men to spare. Most of them have set off to make contact with the HQ, since the PSY emissions have been disabled."

 

Enigma:

You search the bodies, finding a MAC-10 machine pistol (good quality, good condition, 30 round clip [+2 damage, -1 accuracy]), along with 20 9mm rounds! The automated turrets have been covered up again, so you enter the bunker. You are greeted by some ecologists and mercenaries.

 

Hakon:

The ecologists ask if you wish to join a small expedition party further into the zone.

 

Earth:

The professor says, "I warned you before leaving that it was a dangerous mission." You start to wobble due to your legs being broken.

[Seraphi]

Enigma explains everything they found, and describes everything that was killed. He then asks what the importance of this way, and why dozens of troops started pouring in.

[Earth]

i ask for a fix for my legs, before explaining how i broke them. (ross, im doing overlording, you may want to pick it up again)

Enigma:

The professor seems baffled when you begin talking. Before you can finish, he says, "Do you have any documents that are of use? Anything? Also, what did these troops look like?"

 

Earth:

A doctor pulls you aside and begins to fix up your legs. He says, "This time it's free, but be careful..."

[Seraphi]

"There was a recording and some files on a dead body, and we bought those back."

 

He hands the ecologist the PDA with the data on.

 

He then proceeds to tell the Ecologists what the soldiers looked like.

[Earth]

okay, i thank them, and ask them if they have an anomoly mission.

Håkon joins the team.

Enigma:

The professor takes the data. "I will need to read over these documents to get a full understanding of what was going on there. Also, the soldiers you describe sound like a UN special task force. I'm not surprised."

 

Earth:

An ecologist tells you that no new anomalies have formed. However, you are rewarded with a "Curtain" helmet (+3 chemical def, +2 PSY def, -1 accuracy, moderate radioactive dust prot.) for your help on the mission. The technician also fiddles with your kevlar vest, adding some fireproof mesh.

 

Hakon:

You join a team of 3 ecologists and a mercenary. The team then begins the journey.

[Earth]

yay. i look for a new mission.

Håkon journeys?..

Earth:

The ecologist tells you that everyone is making a mad rush deeper into the zone due to the PSY field being disabled.

 

Hakon:

You continue moving with the team, coming up to an old carpark filled with strange, pulsating distortions. The ecologists begin to take readings, while the mercenary keeps watch.

[Seraphi]

Enigma hangs around with the ecologists, waiting for the data to be analysed, and wondering what kind of reward he could ask for.

[Earth]

i go and walk deeper into the zone, and use my anomoly detector to take readings of any anomolies i come across.

Håkon readies his P90 and tries to help with the readings. Dog joins the mercenary.

Enigma:

The professor tells you that it will take some time for the data to be analyzed. He then asks, "What kind of reward are you thinking of? Just don't ask the impossible, please."

 

Earth:

Your detector starts beeping, and you manage to find a strange artifact that resembles a sea urchin! Oddly enough there are no anomalies nearby.

 

Hakon:

One of the ecologists yells, "This place is dry! No artifacts detected." The team packs up and continues, coming across some huge, spherical generators.

Håkon repeats.

[Earth]

yay. i go walk farther into the zone.

[Seraphi]

"I'd like to know if you obtained any information on the psychic creature I bought back earlier, and whether it would be possible to endow myself with such abilities. Failing that, repairs on this damaged suit I found, and the ability to take some missions for you. Honourary membership, if you will."
