Hakon:

An ecologist remarks, "This is astounding! We need to send a full team in here to figure out what these generators are for." He contacts the professor on the radio, but you notice something rustle in the bushes nearby.

 

Earth:

You go further into the zone, reaching some massive wall. It seems to stretch around for miles, with no way around it.

 

Enigma:

"Yes, we have gained much insight from that psychic creature that you obtained earlier. Unfortunately, we still need more time before something like that can be accomplished." The professor glances at the suit, saying, "This is far to damaged to be of any use. Since you helped with such a dangerous mission, you can have a new one instead. Note that you will not be able to wear any gas mask/helmet while wearing the suit. As for missions, I need for you to scout out a suitable place of operations deeper in the zone. Now that the PSY field is gone, everyone is starting to venture deeper."

You recieve an SSP99 Mk.I suit (+2 fire, eletrical & chemical, closed cycle breathing system, moderate rad prot.)

Håkon holds his P90 towarde the bushes and sends Dog over while commanding; "Show yourself!".

Enigma thanks the Ecologists, puts the suit on, takes some instructions from them, and then heads deeper into the zone to find them a new base of operations.

 

He buys another 30-40 9mm rounds first, if he has the money.

[Earth]

i go and look for a forest, or a mine, that i can use to make materials for weapons.

Enigma:

You buy another 40 rounds for 200c. The professor posts a location of an old petrol plant, but warns you that it could be dangerous. You set off, and eventually find yourself in some dead forest. There are 4 bodies on the ground, with nothing besides some rags on them.

 

Hakon:

5 monolith soldiers pop out of the shrubs, firing at your group. Most of the shots miss, but one ecologist is hit in the chest. You and the merc return fire, killing one of the monolithans. Dog latches onto the leg of another soldier.

Earth:

You come across a massive, dead forest. There is an eerie silence.

[Earth]

i try to stealth my way thru the forest, and clear it out with ym gun and mele weapons.

[Seraphi]

Enigma shoots all four corpses in the head before walking carefully through the forest, trying to stay alert to any danger.

Håkon continues firing, telling dog to snap the leg and get on with the next.

Enigma:

You shoot the bodies in the head and then continue the journey. After walking for some time, you come across a strange white orb, suspended in midair.

 

Earth:

Unfortunately, the dead leaves make stealth quite hard. You alert 3 zombies, which slowly come walking towards you.

 

Hakon:

The monolith forces send another barrage of bullets your way, killing the merc and hitting your right shoulder. You return fire, but only wound two of the soldiers. Dog continues to cling to one of the soldier's leg, causing him to fall over.

[Earth]

i sllahs at them with my katana, while shooting them with my handgun.

[Retech]

Kimako asks the commander if she can help make contact with HQ.

Håkon continues firing and tosses his sidearm to the closest ecologist.

[Seraphi]

Enigma reaches out to touch the orb. He holds his gun ready, in case it is a lure of some kind.

 

If nothing happens, he sends pictures of it to the ecologists.

I walk back to the Ecologist base, and tell them I assisted Enigma and Kimako on the mission. I ask what they know about Bloodsucker camouflage.

Earth:

As the zombies approach, you stab one through the eye socket with the katana, killing it. You pull out your handgun and fire at the other two, hitting them both but not doing much damage. One of the zombies stumbles towards you and bites you in the leg.

Kimako:

"I have a group that is about to head to the HQ. You can go with them, if you please."

 

Hakon:

You continue firing, killing a monolithan and critically wounding another. Unfortunately, you have no sidearms, but an ecologist picks up the mercenarie's M16. However, he horribly misses when firing. The last two monolithans return fire, hitting the ecologist in the leg, causing him to fall over. Dog bites the jugular of one of the soldiers, killing him.

Enigma:

As you reach out to touch the orb, you are knocked unconscious by a blinding flash of light. Some time after, you start to see strange flashes of white light before blacking out.

 

Varius:

The professor tells you, "We have been studying that strange cammo property, but have had no breakthroughs. What would you want for a reward, though?"

[Retech]

Kimako heads with group, dancing along the way.

[Earth]

i do another stab and shoot session, starting with the one atatcking my leg.

[Seraphi]

Enigma tries to regain conciousness and examine his surroundings.

[Nexaduro]

Well, my first choice would be active camo of some sort. I am also a bit of a fan of melee combat, as you no doubt can tell from my two katanas, knife bandolier, and the 4 concealed hunting and throwing knives you may have noticed that I have hidden on my person.

Kimako:

You head off with the group, and begin dancing. However, one of the duty soldiers says, "Shhh, you'll give away our position!" The group meets up with another patrol of 3 men, which are also on their way to the base. You continue on, walking through some massive forest, which seems quite dead.

 

Earth:

You madly stab at the zombie attacking your leg until it dies. As the last zombie approaches, you take a shot at it, hitting it in the arm. It tries to grab you, but falls over.

Enigma:

After some unknown amount of time, you wake up in an old hospital.

 

Varius:

"We don't have any active cammo, but we do have this advanced stun baton (+3 damage, moderate chance of stunning)."

[Earth]

i stab the last zombie, and look for a branch that i could use for a bow.

[Nexaduro]

"I'll take that, unless you can wire up something like that to my katanas."

 

Varius heads over to Duty base, and asks if he can accompany the others to the HQ.

Håkon fires some more.
