Kimako and her men look for cover (like a shrub or something) relatively close to the Freedom base. She also checks for a radio broadcast ability in her PDA, so maybe she can hijack the radio network.

Håkon checks around to find out what exactly was found and if he can help with the gathering of information as well.

I visit the trader, check his wares (specifically asking about camouflage, melee weapons, and nightvision goggles/thermal optics) an on the way check how much money I have.

And Paul, you forgot to put my stun baton on the front page that I got from the ecologists.

Karl:

You patch up the loner. He thanks you, saying, "I won't forget what you have done for me. I will repay the favor, one day." After waving goodbye he fades away in a dark forest.

Earth:

Two heavily armed men come out and knock you out. You awaken several minutes later in an interrogation room.

 

Kimako:

There are some thick shrubs with a little cover close to the base. The squad moves in the shrubs, prepared to assult.

i look around the room, and see if i can move. if i can move, i check to see if i have my stuff with me.

Karl moves on to the Freedom base. If he sees Kimako and cohorts he sneaks up behind them and shoots them all taking care to concentrate on Kimako.

[Retech]

Jen moves quietly to find another hiding spot sorta close, but not the same as the hiding spot of the other soldiers. If she does this, she gives the signal for the grenade launcher fellow to start launching grenades into the base, to kill as many people as possible, while she and the other fella with the assualt rifle gun down any freedom people that come towards them. If she fails, then the assualt rifle people (including her) open fire on the people that spot them, while the grenade launcher person fires the grenades in a way to stop the other freedom people from coming to help.

What about me?

I buy a pair of thermal goggles, and sell my thermal scope. If I can afford it, I buy ACUPAT camo if it's appropriate for my surroundings, selling my old woodland camo. I then attach my thermal goggles to my gasmask, and check how much money I have left before asking the Duty commander for a mission.

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I sell all my silencers, scopes, and guns. I do not buy a red-dot sight.

Hakon:

"We aren't exactly sure, but if you come back later I might be able to answer your questions. We do need your help setting up some sentry turrets around these generators, though. Taking the readings on these generators is quite hard."

 

Earth:

The room has bloodstains all over the place. You are strapped to a chair, but can see all you items in a box nearby. A man comes out with a hammer. He places it above your right thumb saying, "Who sent you here!"

 

Karl:

You arrive at the freedom HQ, which is some large water treatment plant. A MG gunner shouts, "Commander told me about you, feel free to head inside!"

 

Kimako:

You trip over a branch, alerting some of the guards. You & your squad opens fire, killing 2 of the entrance guards. An alarm sounds, and you can hear yelling along with plenty of movement.

 

Varius:

You sell your MP5 w/ the thermal scope for 800c. The woodland cammo would not be worth much to sell back, so your decide to keep it. After purchasing the thermal goggles & acupat cammo, you have 500c.

Håkon asks (whoever has sentries (the one at the colony if neccessary) for some sentries to set up.

" actually, i came here on the advice of an ecologist. said somthing about a mad dash further into the area, due to the disablement of the psy field."

Kimako tells the grenade fella to keep shooting grenades at where the enemy is likely to come out (like the entrance), while she sneaks off to a place of cover off to the side. There she provides cross fire against people heading to the original spot, while her squad member provides her crossfire against people heading towards her, sorta making a dead zone. She uses accurate, while her squad member uses automatic.

Assuming ACUPAT covers the rest of the camo except urban and winter, I also buy urban camo, then go to the Duty commander and ask for a mission.

Karl goes into the base (assuming it is not under fire)

Hakon:

An ecologist comes out with a few crates, containing 3 sentry guns. He points out the locations that they need to be placed at, and goes to begin setting one up.

 

Earth:

The man pauses for a sec, and then asks, "Do you know the location of any duty bases?" You notice that the man is reading a lie detector.

 

Kimako:

You manage to find a large crate to the side, but it doesn't seem to be great cover. 4 freedom members come out of the entrance, and one is killed by a grenade. They open fire on your squad, wounding the one with the AR badly. While the guards are distracted, you take some shots at them, hitting one in the leg.

Varius:

You buy some urban cammo, and then head to the commander. He tells you to assist a fellow squad assulting a radio station under freedoms control.

 

Karl:

The base seems to be calm, so you enter.

Karl asks the Freedom commander if he has any missions for him.

[Earth]

" i do know a few of em, but they arent that big.."

[Retech]

Kimako signals the grenade guy to keep launching grenades, sorta in a circle around the enemies to blow them up. Meanwhile, the AR fella should be using his medkit, if he brought one. If not, he keeps shooting. If he did bring a medkit, Kimako keeps shooting the same, while if he didn't, then Kimako jumps out of cover and makes really loud noises, then shoots beserker to distract them. This hopefully will be very scary, before she ducks back into cover.
