You throw your knife, which stabs the cultist in the heart. You hit the last cultist in the arm, mildly wounding him. Varius finishes him off, though.

Hakon:

One of the loners turns around and starts shooting at you, missing. You return fire, and get a direct headshot. The others seems unphased, and continue muttering. Dog hides.

Enigma retrives his knife. He also takes any badges which the three men may have been carrying or wearing, and messages the commander saying that the 3 men had gone insane, and needed to be killed.

"Well, well, my dear Enigma, seems the natives are a bit violent... Awfully good target practice though."

Varius begins searching through the corpses and the area around. He examines the statue, and takes anything of value. Giving Enigma what he wants out of it, of course.

Enigma:

You message the commander telling that the scouting team was killed by the three men. He says, "Damn! What did the attackers look like?" You also find 15 9mm rounds.

Varius:

You find an MP5 (average quality, good condition), along with 30 9mm rounds. 400c is scattered on the ground, which you split with Enigma.

Earth:

Sorry, you start out with the standard equipment, which does include a hunting knife.

 

All:

That was the last roll, I will be back sometime late this weekend or Monday.

Always wanted to play a game like this, but no way in hell my parents would let me if it had graphics.

Missed the Dungeoneering session... missed the 2025 session.... I'll GM for cyber-duels if anyone wants, but beware, you're more likely to die since I'm annoyed at my bad timing.

I tell the men that I mean them no harm and that had their friend not overreacted he would still have been alive.

Hakon:

The men don't seem to notice you. They continue making moaning noises.

 

Enigma:

You note that the men are wearing a brown/white cammo. You remember making out the word "monolith" when they were chanting.

Oh, cool. I didn't have enough money available to go on our school skiing trip a few weeks back. Ah well.

 

Enigma messages the commander with the description of their cloths, telling him about the insane chanting and incredible hostility.

One of them reacted and shot at me, I killed him and the rest looked aggressive, sitting by thri fire. And now suddenly they're zombies?

Enigma:

The commander curses, and then says, "I can't believe that they have made it to the outer borders so fast! You have just gotten a first-hand experiece with the Monolithians, a hostile cult that has recently been quickly spreading out from the deeper parts of the zone. They don't reason, and will kill anyone who is not theirs. I am sending a team over there to retake the outpost as we speak. One of them will have something for you."

I updated Reanimated. Nevermind what I said about modding, though.

I examine, then dismantle, the object the men were worshipping.

"Understood."

 

Enigma waits at the outpost, ready to defend it until the force arrives, if need be.

Karl moves the ecologist back to the bunker.

I shoot the zombies and loot them and the camp, I then call back Dog.

Enigma:

The forces arrive fine. They seemed heavily armed, with some sort of light machine guns. One has a 50 cal sniper. The leader walks up to you, and hands you 200c along with a civilian gas mask (+1 chemical defense, minor protection vs. radioactive dust)

 

Varius:

You examine the object, but cannot make anything out of it. You destroy it. After giving Enigma his reward, the commander comes over and hands you a civilian gas mask (+1 chemical defense, minor protection vs. radioactive dust) as well.

+0.1 salvage

 

Hakon:

You hit one of the zombies, killing it. You miss the second and third ones, but you get a well placed shot in the heart on the fourth one. The remaining two stumble around and don't even shoot. Dog doesn't come back, and remains in hiding.

Karl:

You make it back to the bunker, but the ecologist seems in critical condition. He is taken to the surgeon right away to be treated. A doctor comes up to you, and examines your wrist. Fortunately, it is your left hand, and he puts a splint on it. "Don't use it for a few days, and it will heal", he says.

"Anything else need doing?"

 

Enigma hands Varius 100c.

Kemios wakes up mumbling something about a .44 magnum. He then asks the doctors what the heck happened, and where he is.
