Riku3220
I really don't get why you all think it's that big of a deal. How are they distracting anyone but themselves? Unless you all go to school with people who hit the buttons on their phones so loud that it can be heard around the room, you shouldn't be that annoyed by it. If they want to distract themselves why do you care?Because the teacher has to take time out of their lesson to deal with an idiot who just for some reason is afraid to give up his phone for the last 30 minutes of class because they think that the teacher actually gives a damn about what they're texting about. Then when they refuse to give the damn thing up an admistrator has to come to the classroom and escort them out. It's a huge waste of time that could be solved if people would quit texting. jjrox32
Oh yeah, huge waste of time. That 10 seconds it takes for a teacher to confiscate their phone really cuts into everyone's learning time.

It's when we are trying to do something and they keep getting distracted by their phones.

jjrox32
Y'know, or the teachers could not be [kitties] and get stood up by a teenager.
Aliath
Just lighten up, whats wrong with them? 5 minute breaks arn't very long, only a few texts... Its probaly just something to do in those classes which just drag on.... High school is serious, though a lot of you fail to notice that. How will you act when you have a job? Will you text while your employer is addressing the staff? I sure hope not. Besides, texting during class is very insulting to the teacher. Besides, can't we all be mature adults and just turn off our phones before entering the classroom?

(You stalk my posts, I'll stalk yours. ) Anyway, I always have my phone on me in school. Usually I just text my friends because I'm bored, but sometimes I keep it on me for when my parents or a friend needs to tell me something important. Or sometimes I just feel like playing Tetris. I swear all my teachers are half-blind. Except for my English teacher. She's the only one who's ever caught me. Roses are red,Violets are blue. This line doesn't rhyme,And neither does this one.
