I'm currently doing 40 minutes of triple charms by killing Waterfiends as a task, with Extreme potions and using Piety.

This nets me roughly 130-160 Crimson charms in 40 minutes.

Just wondering if there's more efficient spot for me to gather charms in said 40 minutes. My stats:

If you use a ZS or SS on crush and do the best you can that is the best you can. Obviously you're limited by not training strength or attack as the boost from your extremes could be so much higher and more useful.

If you're finding that you're disliking WF's you could try bursting lobs or cannoning walliskies? Maybe even use the triple charm and go wyvern hunting or something?

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

I get about 320 crimsons in the forty minute period including travelling and (minimal) banking time. That is without a task, although it is with maxed stats and an iron titan. Your numbers seem quite low, your comparatively low offensive melee stats and lack of metal titans notwithstanding. Assuming that you are already killing the fiends as efficiently as possible, you might want to consider barraging rock lobsters with smoke or shadow spells.

Best way is the Chaos Tunnels waterfiends.

Rock Lobsters are ok, but CTS is faster and you don't need to waste time getting there.

Your number seem unusually high. A guy I talked with had significantly higher melee stats than mine (99s) and only got as much Crimsons as I.

Well, I've made a thread about this yesterday and basically everyone advised me against CT Waterfiends.

Confusing...

I got over 300 crimsons from rock lobsters last time... I just have a friend waiting for me at waterbirth so I can collect the reward and immediately teleport there and get to work

You shouldn't do CT Waterfiends yet.

The best way is to KBD and log out between spawns.

Just had an idea while reading this thread; since your melee stats are low, and if you don't want to do Rock Lobsters, you could try Chinning/Bursting Nechs.

^ Wow I had not thought of this. That's probably a really good way to get crims. But does the 40 minute timer go down when you're logged out?

No, it does not. Considering you get (4) per kill, and a kill is lets say 30 seconds. You would get like....OVER 9000

what i'm doing now:

https://linktr.ee/student1

4 Per Kill * 40 Minutes * .5 Minutes / KBD * .50 Crim Drop rate * 3 Bonus = 120 Crims

4 Per Kill * 40 Minutes * .5 Minutes / KBD * .80 Crim Drop rate * 3 Bonus = 192 Crims

Either way, Waterfiends is better. I get ~190 Crims for the 40 minutes and I don't use extremes/turmoil
