November 20, 200520 yr I'll say it was the best out of the 4 movies so-far. This is the first movie of the series I would be willing to see again, the first 3 sucked so horribly it's not even funny.. I will say that I really didn't like how Dumbledore was portrayed. In the books he's much more calm, and much more... "grand". In the movie Dumbledore lost his cool more than once, and his lines were sub-par at best. The only time he was ok was when he was giving his speech at the end - how it would be an insult to Cedric's memory to say that his death was an accident. I also didn't like how they left out the last really good scene of the book, where Dumbledore gets in a fight with Cornelius, sends everyone off to do their thing, etc. Without that there's hardly any good setup for the next movie. Lame. The dragon scene was overplayed, as well, but, meh.

November 21, 200520 yr the movie wasn't bad but it missed so many key things its not even funny... 1. That tall chick was only using Hagrid for information in the book. This was not how it was portrayed in the movie. 2. Reeta Skeeta was one of those transforming chicks, and could transform into a ladybug in the book. She was much more sneaky and 'bad' in the book, she was also a much bigger role. 3. They made the last test thing exremely short and bland.... there was supposed to b giant spiders, and quizzes, and cool stuff. There were only bushes in the movie... lame.. 4. They condensed scenes to the max. like were supposed to b at the quiditch cup longer at the begining, the second task was longer, explained more about the other 3 doing the first task, etc... 5. A lot of other things, i cannot think at the moment though.. Overall it was a good movie, but it did not give the book justice. They cut way to many corners, and could have made the movie a little bit longer making it a lot better

November 21, 200520 yr My opinion. Ok I went to see this expecting a reasonable film..like the others. I was quite disappointed to be honest. At first I think they could have cut some bits and replaced them with others. And I swear that a house elf was accused of conjuring the dark mark at the quidditch? If so they missed all of that out of the story line. Anyway, as for the actual content. Very bad acting in parts. Some of the acting was extremely terrible..and some very stereotypical. I doubt all bulgarians are skin heads and about 6 foot tall. Emma Watson needs to learn how to laugh in a film, as when she laughs in all the films, she sounds like a small ferret being shot with a tazer gun. I have to say, this movie had some extremely cringe making moments. For example when there was like some cruddy fake rock concert in Hogwarts, and that small elf like person crowd surfing *shudder*. The Ule Ball dance was very hard to watch as well..At times I felt like tearing my own hair out and drowning myself in a pot of bile. Rons so called "witty" puns, and the overuse of the term "Bloody Hell," didn't add to this movies small list of strong points either. ^>BIX<^ Hey.
