GEEKS OF THE WORLD UNITE! 8) There's a movie theatre about 3 blocks away from my 2700 student uni... at the midnight showing last night, there were four screens showing that and there were 100-200 students from my school there :D I had a 9 am class the next day :D I love how geeky my school is. Keep in mind, that's just the freaking midnight showing :| Everybody hug and spread the love :D

November 19, 200520 yr Yahhhh, I wen't last night at midnight :P (Thursday at midnight). It was one of those experiances where you can't really decide if it was eather the best or the saddest moment in your life. Like, everybody was dressed up and there were like hxc duels going on in the ailes and up front with like crazy spells being cast like "expeliarmous" and "flippendo" and "wingardium leviosa". And yah everybody there was definatly a 15 year old goth girl as well so i didn't really fit in. So yah i'm in the theatre with some friends 2 hours before the movie starts (at 10) and so we get some large pops to drink and get refils; we end up getting like two refils. So like the movie starts and i don't have to go to the bathroom, and then likeeeeee 15 minutes later it hits me and i have to go. About at the scene with the dragon I litterally coulden't hold it anymore and I like started getting up and was like whatever i'll hold it. So i spent that whole 2 hours and 47 minutes in the most pain i've ever been in waiting for the movie to end :P It was a good movie except... -Cho Chang has 2 freeiken scenes :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: Yes - No quidich matches
November 19, 200520 yr is it just me, or was that different to the books, by too much. CANE Just to be different. Think about it. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight.

November 19, 200520 yr w00t w00t. Headed off to go see it now... I'll be back with a full review. :P My full review = Emma Watson is hot. Wow. :shock: But yeah....definitley best movie so far, and even if you are not into Harry Potter you should still go see it. It is really awesome, and has some good action, and at some parts it is extremely intense. Not as intense as camping though....get it?....in-tents....HAHAHA :lol: Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

Most likely next week though, cause the friend I promised to go see it with can't go this week :( The trailer looked great, so I really hope this one won't be a big disappointment as the 4th is my favourite out of the series. November 19, 200520 yr I think they should've gone with their original plans of making two movies and releasing them a few months apart, that way they would've have to cut so much from the book. Also I though there were a few parts where it was meant to be funny, but came across as a little weird because it didn't fit with the rest of the movie. The best example I can remember (because I was tired at 12:00 and don't remember everything) is at the dance and the small teacher is being spun around while crowd surfing.
November 20, 200520 yr Time to bust the negativity up. There might be some spoilers included. The movie was overrated. It wasn't THAT much better than the earlier movies. The crappy acting that can be easily seen in the crying scene for the Fat Lady, or the cheap props for Mad Eye's eye just got me bored of the movie. I also expected the dragons to be MUCH MUCH bigger than the tiny they had in the movie. The dragon Harry was supposed to fight was a huge Hungarian Horntail that would take 'more than a dozen wizards' to handle. The dragon in the movie looked like one Hagrid can take care of it :$ I loved the book, but the movie did not reflect the book as much as I would have liked. I know you really can't avoid this from a 500+ page novel, but the movie was hella rushed. Some exciting parts were cut off, like the World Cup Quidditch Match in the beginning of the book. My girlfriend came with me and she didn't read the books and came out wondering wth happened in the movie. It took out some details from the book that the director didn't bother patching up. Cliffs: If you didn't read the books, chances are, you'll have no idea what happened in the movie. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

November 20, 200520 yr there were huge line ups and 3 harry potter movies were sold out! unbelievable still sold out today but I and my gf got in lol movie was okay btw
November 20, 200520 yr Author I finally went out and saw it tonight. I loved the movie, there was so many exciting parts where I was almost shaking :D. The graveyard where Harry and Ceddric are telported to was amazing, then harry and him dueling :D Awesome Movie 10/10 :wink:
