Italy invades with an Amphibious force in the north of Morroco. Morrocan forces quickly encircle the attackers and force them back into the sea. 2,000 are captured.

Morroco demand 40 billion in compensation to end the war.

 

A secondary attack in the other end of the country makes limited progress, establishing a beach-head but is under constant artilary fire.

Greece-Russia invades Turkey.

 

Greece attacked with a force of 540,000 in the south, making an amphibious landing and 80,000 in the north, trying to take Istanbul.

 

The attack intially looked like it would succeed, with the naval landings being completed without any resistance, and meeting only light resistance in the south. However the Northern attack met a force of some 300,000 troops, and was ambushed as they attempted to retreat, decimating the army entirely, around 100,000 troops then advanced into Greece and took control of the first city they came to before feeling the pinch of supply lines.

 

 

The Russian landings told much the same tale, with no real resistance being felt.

You do realise, Retech's idea only works for Retech right? I know building it in my place gives me the bonus but I'm offering techs off to people who help, basically if you help, some techs I build (and you will get a say in what I decide to research as your scholars will probably be there too) Also I'll name change to the world instead of India if you think I'd get to much credit.

I wasn't going to build military tech with it. Mainly stuff like medicines, space missions, and generally peaceful stuff like that. I mainly wanted it to be in Ithaca because I like having things in the US.

 

Oh, and I wouldn't build a rival university to combat Icu. I don't really mind that he's constructing it, and I'll contribute just as much as he does to the project. If it was in my country however, I would be willing to pay a much larger portion of it.

well, im not letting posideon and meguy to uber rush me. they were going to atatck me with whatever troops meguy has, and his 500,000 troops he was training.. or somwhere around that nnumber. you will not take me unaposed!!!! also, i begin research into a renewable growing system (IE: you can grow a huge amount in a year, and have it perfectly viable for the next year.)

If you could make the university run by a board of the top donors, each choosing a tech to research, then I'll donate a trillion. Over time of course, can't afford that in one year without making myself vulnerable.

I was thinking about top donater gets highest say, your trillion will probably make you have a strong opinion in what goes on. Well a third, still thats a lot. If I can get one more in, that makes it split pretty nice into quaters, though if you me and Hex do a trillion each, thats equal say right there and we just hold votes :).

 

It will put us ahead tech wise, as if I remember what I sorted out with Archi, though I dont think it was final, every 7 years on research time deducts 1 year, and if another country in the world is using that tech, we also can deduct even more time off. As it is an international university.

I can only give you people at the moment however these people are hard workers because money is bieng given to them once they complete the task set for them, this is unspecified but rumored to be large.

Invasion of Turkey and Morroco. Hex posted some stuff....We instituted a 'Wonder' system, which means that occationally there will be some great 'Wonder' which gives the builder a special advantage.

Hex gave in to demands, his country is set to make a good recovery, Dusty is at war, so is Italy (I think) and everyone is just doing ok now. Also "The Great University of The World" is being built in India, but any challenger is welcome (according to Archi, though I don't want to make competition). Me Retech Grim and Hex are working on it and were splitting the great effect of the building :)
