Anywho, thanks to certain events, which arn't really anyone's fault, my accomodation search got easier and more difficult, all at once, basicly by losing the person I was searching with....So I am feeling understandably depressed, which some of you may have noticed over the past few days with my shortening fuse(I suspected this might happen). Anywho, I am going to be leaving early tonight, hopefully things will look mildly better in the morning(I don't believe that but still)

 

To be honest....I am annoyed, and very much so, because the other person wasted alot of time when housing was avalible and wasted even more time when it wasn't so avalible, and now, five miles upstream, he has jumped ship.

However, he was ill, so it wasn't really his fault, and I am fairly useless at house hunting(fear of telephones is a great fear...) Also, I can't really blame him for trying to jump ship, since I contemplated it earlier...All of that said though, I still feel depressed that I am five miles upstream without anyone to help me get back out to sea...

 

In any event I am going to do what I always do in these circumstances, blindly stare into space(it is 10 pm at night so there is naff all I can do right now). So good night all.

Icu, if trade didn't happen, nobody would be able to do anything, therefore we assume that it still happens, but do not incorperate it into any system.

 

Delivery from space is inneffective and innefficient. You'd need hundereds, no, thousands of ships, small enough that they could leave the atmosphere again.

 

Now, assuming each of these fairly small ships would feed 100 people for an entire year (Too much, but it wont matter at all because it's so absurd), you would need SEVEN HUNDERED THOUSAND SHIPS PER YEAR. That's seven million ships per decade.

 

Stupid idea.

Anyways, the ERE begins consolidating its resources for more domestic uses, and stockpiling stuff that it doesn't use atm.

Research starts on a ballistic missle shield system and whatever. Bunkers still being constructed in the 'hostile' border regions (ERE-Egypt, ERE-Iran). Also, long range artillery being set up on the coast of the Red Sea, just in case I need to lob some crap at Rocco in the future.

 

Also mines being placed in the waters of Bab-el-Mandeb, which is now renamed to Constantine Strait (because I'll never remember its actual name). Also, artillery base is being constructed on Perim Island, as well as naval patrols and a radar station.

They are Fiji, an independent country, maybe you are thinking about New Caledonia which belongs to France, that Australia somehow possesses.

Yea I read over the page for Khârn and that's a decent fit for me. He got the title 'betrayer' because he burned his soldier's shelters they had built against the cold because he wanted them to attack the enemy. Haha, good chap!
