I am putting all the money that isn't spent on researches into my space fund. Basically it can only be used for the mission I described to Archi, and cannot be removed. That way, it won't be abusable in the way that you can save up money from decade to decade.

Project rectum has been completed. It is an improvement to our earlier research on solar panels. We now have high efficiency solar panels, being installed on all buildings, that can power the entire building (With the exception of high rises and factories) without any help from the main grid. Any unused power is fed back into the main grid, making it so we require very little power from dirty sources.

Shields are an accepted part of Sci Fi, we don't need to understand how they work, I can generate some figures when people start using them.
