From Autumn to Ashes is definitley not underground either.

RXBandits are awesome!

The Vandlas are another.

At the Disco are good

This is about "Underground" bands. Not "featured on Mtv's website" bands.

I said FEATURED on Mtv's website. What is your problem?

You have to come back at every little thing I say. Get off of me.

I'm not on your back at every little thing you say. I was just pointing out a minor inconsistancy; and it's not like you were specific as to say say they were in the "Featured" section of the site.

I don't know if anyone has heard of them:

Bloc Party: Don't know if they're main stream or not but it seems if I ask anyone about them they don't know so maybe.

Eagles of Death Metal: Don't know if about their "undergroundedness" etc.

No [cabbage] sherlock, that's obvious. But featured could be interpreted as included on the website, not as a "Feature band" or "Band of the week".

Lately I've been into Andrew Bird, too.

Here are some bands I forgot to mention before:

The Velvet Underground

Happy Birthday L.A.

Crom

X

Shellac

John Doe

Dolemike

Giant Sand

The Talking Heads

1690 total and unranked strength. Headed for 1800.

I like the irony (no wait, paradoxicality) in how there's a spelling error in this sig.

Who said we are talking about underground specifically? The thread is "Lesser known bands" and cKy is definetly lesser known...

Metal fans, check out my band!

cKy? Is that an abbreviation, or the name of the band? Since it's a 'lesse known' band and I am too lazy to google it might be nice to mention that. :)

I don't really know much "less well known" bands. Most people don't really know Sigur RÃÆÃâÃâós, I think. So I'll recommend them since they make very good music. And of course their lead singer is homosexual and blind with one eye, that makes them extra cool.

It has been a few weeks since I posted this now, and I was really wondering if some people tried their music and what they thought of it. That is the point of this thread, right?

Yeah, I made this so people can spread good music around instead of being marketed to by big record companies that decide what music is "good".

Scary Kids Scaring Kids (BY FAR, THE BEST BAND OF ALL TIME)

From Autumn To Ashes

Fordirelifesake

Thryvn (I LIVE DOWN THE STREET FROM 4 MEMBERS OF THE BAND. O.O)

And there's others that aren't as underground as these, which I won't bother posting, because people will yell at me because their cd is in stores or something stupid.

Soilwork, old My Chemical Romance, old Blink 182 (so shoot me), NickelBack, Unwritten Law, not the most underground stuff, but they're rarley spoken of and good

i dont see how any of those are underground as he is referring to. everyone knows of MCR even if it is old, it is better yes but no longer underground. same goes for blink 192, nickleback and unwritten law.

If you want some good underground bands. Through the eyes of the dead, scary kids scaring kids, job for a cowboy, chiodos

Dragon Drops: 5 medium helmet, 3 left shield half

Obby: Maul 1, Cape 1, Shield 1

One Big Plain- one of the best local bands ever you people should check out their myspace

Artic Monkeys- all I know about them is I think I saw them play a song on a video once and I remember I liked it

Dragonforce

Coheed and Cambria- I actually wouldent call them really underground anymore since the new cd but last year they were. I remember last year they were playing more local scenes.

I cannot believe that I forgot The Mars Volta
