Was fairly surprised to see that there's no talks about this TV-Series around on TIF!

 

It's a brilliant action / comedy / drama series centered around a computer-nerd who has a bit of a run-in with an old roommate and the CIA. ;) It's been going since 2007 now and is on it's third season at the moment with a new episode coming out on Monday!

If you do take a look at it I'd recommend watching both the first and second episode before judging it, the first sets the scene and the second is where it gets good!

They just keep coming out with new twists, everytime you think everything's been settled, something new comes up.

 

And the characters are mad funny! Morgan, Lester, Jeff, etc.

Not a fan, saw it once in a hotel room.... Not a fan lol. I forced myself to watch the whole episode, it just seemed boring.

Couldn't agree more - they've got a great knack for finding new, original twists - especially things you don't expect! Much like the latest episode... <_<

 

The characters are done very well, very diverse set and each appeal to the viewer in different ways. Casey's awesome definitely - what about Captain Awesome? :P

I reckon I can probably relate, it's not especially one that you can pick it up mid-series and enjoy it, definitely something that you have to get into the character-roles and general concepts through the starting episodes. I initially wasn't sure of it when I saw the first episode, after a few more though I was hooked! Of-course a lot is down to personal preference, I've got a sister who loves it and another who hates it. :P

I'lll check it out (provided Netflix has it) once I finish up Arrested Development and 5 seasons of Bones (so like 3 weeks L)

Gotta get my USB-TV tuner working first though... can't stand commercials.

Pretty funny show. It's captivating too, which is why I like it. Been watching it since it first started.

Chuck is easily one of my favorite TV series. Althought the end of the first season was a little "eh" and there were time of the second season where it got iffy, but overall it's a wonderful show that I will be sure to buy the DVDs to. Love it to death.

Littleboy, it's on NBC in America. You can find it on Hulu, I'm pretty sure they've finally de-Americanized themselves now.

 

Since tonight's episode left an epic cliffhanger that was kind of already assumed, I figured it would be fair to speculate :D

 

I think that Shaw's going to have a very crude intersect that messes with his mind more than Chuck's and pretty much becomes corrupt Hulk-Shaw that destroys everything and wants Chuck's head.

 

Also I think someone important that's been with the show a while (coughmontageneartheendcough) will die soon. Possibly next episode.

 

And Eli is annoying.

You may well be right about Shaw, seeing as lately it's been very centred on the Intersect's corruption of the mind. Obviously that could also tie in with 'the governor'. ;) I must admit, I enjoy the episodes with Chuck's father. He's got that intelligent, eccentric persona which he plays really well!

 

 

It seems quite a few are expecting someone important to be killed off - really not sure who it would be, most of the characters really have such a good impact on the series. :unsure:

Anyone know where you can find older episodes of the show? I've checked around, but I can't find anything except for hulu, and the first 6 episodes of season 1 on some other site. I started watching it earlier this season, and it's annoying not knowing all the background info.

Really? I thought it was a little old him going between "I'm a spy" and "I'm not a spy" all the time.

I found the finale pretty enjoyable, but yeah, the fluctuation between spy and not-spy is getting a bit old now.

Like you said though, it was pretty enjoyable.

What can I say......It's one of my favorite show :thumbup: I try not to miss any series.

Great finale! But I thought his mom died in the first season? Or are we lead to believe that was an elaborate cover? Crazy good twist, regardless. But what was the point of the trial version of the intersect? And why are we only hearing about it now? And I'm sure all those file cabinet names will pop up again. I am SO looking foreward to Sept when the next season starts :D i have a feeling it will have lots of flash backs into Orion's past and the initial intersect team of last generation [similiar to the inital Heroes twist, by brining in the generation beforehand]
