cooking is without a doubt the fastest, but if you lost 3m with cooking i think you did something wrong...

from 88-99 with shark i made ~ 6/7m (with cooking gauntlets, or else you'll burn too many)

i started with about 60 cooking in my quests so idk what to recommend up to that point, but i did lobsters 60-78, monks 78-88 and shark 88-99

Hunter is fairly easy and you can get 99 in 3 weeks playing 6 hours a day. You also make a few million selling the chins

I must be missing something, from what level? That seems insanely quick

That's 126 hours actually, which is only ~100k xp/hr.

Even at 99 hunter I only average 80-90k an hour at chins. Exp rates at lower levels (especially before 80, when you can only use 4 traps) are significantly less.

3 weeks is definitely underestimated. Most people can get it pretty easily in a month and a half though.

Thats good, but chins isn't that great unless you're in it for the money. And even then i hear the grenwall spikes are pretty decent money, as well as exp. Then there is also bare-handing those butterfly things, which i hear is good hunter and decent agility exp as well.

Implings are the bomb for hunter. Hunting in Puro Puro is somewhere in the 40k xp/hr range I think (that's what I've been getting) and with decent agility and strength levels for getting around the maze it should be reasonable to expect profits approaching or exceeding 1m gp/hr.
