Runescape "companies"

I see a lot of Runescape companies being made out (such as the mining comany, the fletching company, and so on), but all don't seem to be that active at all, probably due to the Grand Exchange.

Are there any out there that are really active?

Unfortunately the G.E took out a majority of the need for them. They used to be perfect for getting those hard take make items or things that took time, but now we have the G.E there isn't as much demand.

I see loads on the RSOF, some that are active so yes.

Its just that the G.E has become the localized area for buying in bulk, rather than buying from players. I used to frequent the Marketplace thread on RSOF daily, but since G.E came out... I haven't bought anything from there since.

Man I remember those. I used to work for Nuclear Mining and Smithing smelting addy bars for cash, that was fun. But yeah they are kind of pointless due to the G.E.

quite the contrary: they're very useful due to the ge: anything that's usually unbuyable from the ge, you can get from a company for med. price.

It's taking advantage of them, yes, but you can get unstrung gold ammies, you can get battlestaffs, adamant unf bolts, adamant arrowtips, plain pizzas + anchovies for 120+gp profit per make into anchovie pizzas, cheese which seemingly holds street value, double nat crafting through assistance requests etc. etc.

Yup, I bought 5k gold ammies (u), the order completed in 2 days, while on the ge, it will probably take over a week maybe even more. They are very friendly people, look on the rsof marketplace to find them.

Most are inactive now due to the GE. I remb back in the days when I worked for a WC company. That was fun.

Edit: wow I didn't know they still had a use like that. I guess I know where I'll go to for bought out items now.
