Vulxai
I'm wanting to level my combatives, so what is the fastest way to level them up? What gear (with cheaper alternatives)? Goldenjkered
The fastest way would be Dh's at monkey guards on Ape Atoll, you can you the altar for protect from melee + piety. Another good training spot is armoured zombies, which are located near the chaos altar. You need Defender of Varrock completed to have access to them though. Or, you could take a slight decrease in xp and go for slayer, which is more levels and more money. Right now I'm doing AZ's with proselyte gear, neitiznot, rune defender, d boots, barrows gloves, cook cape, and glory. Goldenjkered
Not sure of xp rates, but I would guess that there about the same. They aren't usually crowded, and the monkey's heal themselves, so you can do more damage before they die. If your happy at armoured zombies, then I would stay there however. Goldenjkered
Ummm, it's to up you really. It would increase you're xp rate, but you would need to pray at altar/ drink p pots more because you'd be losing a hefty prayer bonus. I would strongly suggest getting an enchanted salve amulet for AZ's, as it will boost your attack and strength by 20%. Much better than a glory. As far as the Void, I really don't care much if i have to recharge more, but take hypothetically, I were to train to 99 defense, would it take less time to go get Void, then train defense to 99 (same set-up, except for void (and salve)), or to just keep my current set-up (with salve) and go to 99? ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
PereGrin
the fastest combat xp in the game can be achieved with DH at the zombie monkeys where you go during RFD. It helps alot to have prayer potions, and Salve ammy (e) with DH lets you rip through them. Use pure sets. There is a guide in the Archive or Wisdom here. You can use whip+defender but Dharok is faster xp. Oh, and another guide is here.
Dax
[slayer obsessed person speaking] Think about it. Is the speed really worth the loss of cash that you could get from Slayer? #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod

I can't take too much slayer at once, so to me, it is. I'll eventually get on to slayer here and there, but I get burned out from Slayer a lot faster than regular power training. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Owned_Nex
Void is worth it.Spending the time to get it and the higher EXP are about the same, BUT you get alot of EXP per Pest Control game. Eventually Void will be more if you plan to whip. HOWEVER, for maximum experience DH'ing would be the undead zombies under Ape Atoll. It costs quite a bit, but with Salve(e) it is byfar the best. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some? Slayer can burn you out if you do it often enough. I took regular breaks from it, but ended up just doing it shortly after the break lol. With the FSH you can range/mage more tasks now, and easily make some money. Of course there are better ways to train range/magic and slaying is easily done though melee, why not mix it up some? OT: It seems you have some options to go on, but now it comes down to how much you wanna spend. AZ's are great exp and also some profit. As for DH'ing, you might spend a little more money but you'll also make even more back. Seems like it'll come down to how much you can make and comparing that to the faster speed of DH'ing as to the slight loss of exp but some profit. AZ's also drop some decent charms. Idk much about the Undead Zombies, and idk how well the charms drop if they even drop them. And then there is the slow method of slaying for charms.
