Pianokid13
This is NOT an advertisment! How many you drink Muscle Milk? Believe it or not, Muscle Milk really does build muscles. I drink it in the morning and at night and after I workout. I've gained about 6 pounds in 2 weeks from Muscle Milk (I hope its from that :P) . It may not seem like alot , as quick, or as much as you want to gain, but surely it will build up overtime. Usually, when these drinks, such as Vitamin Water come out, they are useless. If you going to drink Vitamin Water then you might as well just get some Ozarka too, because Vitamin Water is just flavored water! There is another good milk, EAS. Heard of it? Its just as good as Muscle Milk. If you're trying to build up your muscles I suggest you try Muscle Milk or the EAS milk. You shouldn't just drink the milk but do some work outs also. By the way, just about all kinds of milk is good for you, such as Soy Milk. However, EAS milk and Muscle Milk are made especially for building muscles. Do you drink Muscle Milk, EAS, or just regular milk? Or do you just have another way of building muscles? If you do, let me know. Steroids don't count! un4given
Muscle milk is decent. Protein supps in general are good to take along with an anabolic diet. As long as you're on a good program and your diet is decent you're bound to make gains. I'm not a fan of muscle milk because I've found better products that suit me well because of lactose intolerance. Muscle is made in the kitchen, not the gym, and steroids on the other hand is a whole nother discussion. I'll give up creatine and preworkout supps just to keep my protein stocked. It's that big of a staple in my diet. Disregard females. Acquire currency.
Myweponsg00d
You sound confused... "Muscle milk" is not milk. It is a whey protein shake (same with EAS). I mean, whey IS a dairy product, made from milk, but the products are made from the whey. EAS actually also has soy proteins in it, I believe. If you want to continue taking protein shakes, I seriously advise you run down to GNC (or order from any online store) and buy a tub Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard whey protein powder. http://www.optimumnutrition.com/products/100-whey-gold-standard-p-201.html There are two reasons you should do this: 1.) You will save about 60% or more. A bottle of muscle milk has 20 grams of protein, and costs at least 2 dollars, usually close to 3 dollars. A scoop of ON whey has 23 grams of protein, and each scoop costs less than a dollar. 2.) Muscle milk has a lot of unnecessary chemicals in it. One of Muscle Milk's main ingredients is Sodium Caseinate and Calcium Caseinate. These ingredients are quite controversial, as they are often said to be hidden carriers of Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG). This chemical overstimulates the brain, and its presence in our food is said to cause autism. Also the ingredients list on Muscle Milk is ridiculously long. Way too many preservatives, emulsifiers, arftificial colors and flavors, etc. Need assistance in any of these skills? Bloodstain
Yeah, at 2 scoops a day it would last 6 months, and since it's so cheap why not? Especially if the whey powder DOES increase exponentially like expected
123puref2p
Protein is what rebuilds your muscle, and thus "build muscle". Not a brand called "Muscle Milk". Weight is not a good indicator of progress, as those two pounds could very easily be fat (and most likely are). Also, muscle weighs more than fat.. thus you can very easily be burning off that fat and adding muscle... your weight is likely to decrease or stay the same. The better way to judge progress is to take periodic pictures (month to month) of yourself shirtless in a mirror. So you can compare your progress. Those 6 pounds aren't most likely all fat, but they also aren't pure muscle, the only way to control that is through strict dieting and a good workout. The easiest way to put on muscle is to "bulk", the vast majority of bulks will lead to fat being put on but also a significant amount of muscle. After the bulk is done then you "cut", basically just watch what you eat while ensuring you still receive enough protein and other macros required. noble_aloof
i drink about 2 glasses of whole milk every day and i used to make whey protein shakes over the summer after i lifted.. but i would use ridiculous ingredients because the powder tasted so bad and i'd end up getting sugar highs. For my winter lifting i'm thinking about taking those amino acid gel capsules along with some type of whey. PCYar
I feel like "true" muscle milk is to go all-natural. Sure, you can mess around with powders and what not if you want, but milk is milk. Also, why do we drink milk from cows but not our own species? Food for thought.
Bloodstain
Also, why do we drink milk from cows but not our own species? Food for thought. We do when we're babies. Also, because women don't lactate all the time, and it would be really weird to have buildings devoted to milking women...

Also, because women don't lactate all the time, and it would be really weird to have buildings devoted to milking women... "being weird" is not a good reason against it. If there are any cultures that have never seen a human drink milk from other animals, they would probably think it was "really weird" to have huge factories where we have cows attached to milking machines. Not really, humans raise animals in captivity to fulfill whatever need. Also, you'd have to screen the milk for tons of health hazards, but that said, it looks like Canada, USA, and Australia have milk banks. Probably way cheaper to just milk cows too
