Dragon Halberd

I love my d hally, although its become less useful for slayer due to newer equipment, I use it in Castle Wars against ancienters who freeze and move one square away, and if they dont notice I'm hallying them then there's a good chance I'll kill them.

My legions of fans:

Being the defence noob I am, I prefer my DFS with a 1h weapon over both Godswords and the D Hally. but back in the day I use to use D hally because for me, It was accurate and the special helped when I was learning to boss fight.

I didnt really read the thread but i think d hallys will now be updated to be 3500x the cost and sell to stores

What Jagex needs to do first is change the "Items Saved on Death" to be based on GE value or alchemy value (player option selection). This'll balance the cost of certain items like Barrow helms that don't save normally thus get lost more often.

Second, since we're talking about the halberd, is there any reason Jagex has not released the Crystal Halberd yet? It can't be that complicated of a system to implement and by the time they release it, it'll be like a dragon item release where most will say "Who Cares?".

No, prices will become rather unstable.

I have noticed that the halberd spec is exceptionally good againts pest control portals. Or then I am just lucky.

And a very good aoe spinner sweeper too. Hally is the only melee spec that can do a lot of aoe damage, d2h cost too much special bar.

Not to mention I've seen the D hally destroy in BH, such as in this clip:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yieBIhsOVL0&playnext_from=TL&videos=SeVx-pK2paw

[hide]

99 Strength 99 Fletching 99 Range 99 Hitpoints 99 Attack

99 Dungeoneering <3 99 Magic 99 Smithing 99 Herblore

99 Theving

Slayer Drops: 14 whips, 22 D boots, 27 Granite Mauls, 42 Effigies, 5 Dark Bows.

What would be cool is if Drakan and his minions kill all the sig heroes in the quest except Raptor who is wrecking. You and him team up and cave in some vampyre heads. He becomes a total bro in future quests and in a GM quest he receives a fatal injury and his last dying words to you are "Brofist, mang"

ahh, I have lots of good memories with d hally :D i remember how badly i wanted one as a newb, and when i finally got it, i safespotted everything with it lol. Its now sadly outclassed, but its spec is still great for large monsters for a cheap weapon. only drawback is that it protects over too much.

I used it for Slayer to safespot Black Demons and stuff. Can you hit people from the top of the wall in CWs?

I haven't played castle wars for about a year and a half but you can if the person is directly up against the wall and you are on the closest edge of the wall, unless they updated it.
