Quyneax
(Burst/barrage rock lobsters for charms and magic xp). Burst/barrage people in Soul Wars or Castle Wars for kicking ass cheaper. Don't forget to get an arcane stream necklace! OK, you beat me to it, Mughinn. demby123
Blue/red dragons metals (although they suck) Barrows gives you lots of runes using battle robes. Idk about abby demons personally, but they're weak to magic apperantly Rex is a very bad idea in battle robes, your better off with veracs/bandos/guthix for ranged defence/prayer bonus/healing. Not to mention you barely need magic attack to kill rex. I'd recommend barrows for money and red/blue dragons for xp.(fire surge breaks even with a sol and no battle robes, so you might make a bit of profit)
Sinkhan
I'm pretty sure the main use for battle robes is for rock lobsters since ice spells use so many runes. They're really not worth risking in PVP either. Since you've already got 99 summoning, I can only really think of CW/SW. Maging metals might be okish too. Just find a situation where you'll be casting a ton of high rune cost spells. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug

Quyneax
You could do slayer. The loss of a fsh would make some tasks impossible and I'm not sure if the rune-saving is worth the loss of 15% damage... as the op stated, I believe. Barrows, maybe td's trio? I think I remember Muggi saying mageing them is only worth it in a trio... here it is: mage is great there but nowadays it's really only worth it if you're gonna trio (one mage, one warrior, one ranger). the updated autocast makes it hard to hybrid with mage unless you're on ancients, which isn't as cost-effective :\ If you need a noob partner, pm me  Supporter of Zaros | Quest Cape owner since 22 may 2010 | No skills below 99 | Total level 2595 | Completionist Cape owner since 17th June 2013 | Suggestions 99 summoning (18th June 2011, previously untrimmed) | 99 farming (14th July 2011) | 99 prayer (8th September 2011) | 99 constitution (10th September 2011) | 99 dungeoneering (15th November 2011) 99 ranged (28th November 2011) | 99 attack, 99 defence, 99 strength (11th December 2011) | 99 slayer (18th December 2011) | 99 magic (22nd December 2011) | 99 construction (16th March 2012) 99 herblore (22nd March 2012) | 99 firemaking (26th March 2012) | 99 cooking (2nd July 2012) | 99 runecrafting (12th March 2012) | 99 crafting (26th August 2012) | 99 agility (19th November 2012) 99 woodcutting (22nd November 2012) | 99 fletching (31st December 2012) | 99 thieving (3rd January 2013) | 99 hunter (11th January 2013) | 99 mining (21st January 2013) | 99 fishing (21st January 2013) 99 smithing (21st January 2013) | 120 dungeoneering (17th June 2013) | 99 divination (24th November 2013) Tormented demon drops: twenty effigies, nine pairs of claws, two dragon armour slices and one elite clue | Dagannoth king drops: two dragon hatchets, two elite clues, one archer ring and one warrior ring Glacor drops: four pairs of ragefire boots, one pair of steadfast boots, six effigies, two hundred lots of Armadyl shards, three elite clues | Nex split: Torva boots | Kalphite King split: off-hand drygore mace 30/30 Shattered Heart statues completed | 16/16 Court Cases completed | 25/25 Choc Chimp Ices delivered | 500/500 Vyrewatch burned | 584/584 tasks completed | 4000/4000 chompies hunted
Troacctid
You don't need a full slayer helm to use a hexcrest. Just switch to melee for your dust devils and your aberrant spectres. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP

geesch
IMO, battle robes are for bursting/barraging rock lobbs only. In any other place, it is better to use ahrims, or a full slayer helm (hexcrest). You cant use them in cwars, as they dont let you use the hood. Do not use it in pvp (whether minigames or pking) as you would be better off using a high mage setup, or trying to inflict as much damage as possible as quickly as possible. No use in saving FoG FREE runes, for example. The only viable usage of them would be maging steels. I wouldn't even waste my time with that tbh, but if you are set on it, might as well do that.
