Icuownage
Zombies don't die from the cold. I live in a mid sized town, but no sort of preperation for zombies. It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? Seraphi
They get really, really slow, or frozen if it is cold enough, yeah. Alaska is good. Away from civilisation, and cold enough that the maybe... one zombie a year? that you see will be of almost no threat.

The_Mather1
Lol, now you begin trusting the effect of cold winters? How 'bout moving to Lofoten, very few people, very cold winters, lots of boats and lots of fish. And the specialization there is dried fish, so the food will stay edible. Perfect? Icuownage
To New Zealand! Or just ANY island which had some sort of civilisation on it, like one of the Greek islands. Doesn't matter, as the zombies wont keep coming after you killed most off the island. It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? Nexaduro
New Zealand would suck. EVERYTHING there can kill a human, if you were outside the cities zombies wouldn't be your greatest worry. 10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes? The_Mather1
You know that pine needles are rich in vitamin-C. They also can be brewed into tea. Twitter: @TheMather1
Jehosaphat
I might be able to survive for a while, if only due to the massive rabbit population near my house, and the fact that I live near a forest. And Mahter, you could brew the pine tea, but do you think you could drink it? I've had tea made with pine needles before, and it made me want to gag. The_Mather1
My guts can take anything but beans... long story short, I used to like them but after an incident on a school trip I gag everytime I see something even resebling beans. Also I tend to chew pine needles from time to time, they taste kind of bitter but work as mild painkillers. Twitter: @TheMather1

Iconic
Pine needles are not bitter but sour, or atleast they are over in England, or I'm wrong as I often am. A zombie would freeze a lot faster than a human due to lack of blood circulation, they would essentially cease to move at 0 C, It reaches about -18 here so the zombies blood would freeze and turn them into statues. Also, would it hurt to have a roleplay on this forum? I know that dungeoneering type games seem appealing but a roleplay could last without a moderator for... Well forever. One person plays all the zombies and the rest play the people. If you die you make a new character, no competition element so people will be fairer. Earth
well, there is a free game like that on steam. Seraphi
Edel, Freeform roleplays tend to run out of steam kind of quickly here. The people are more game orientated (The tavern was made to cross games and RPing). Besides, I think Dungeoneering style is better, since you actually get the benefit of seeing the character grow and become stronger. When is this game starting anyway? Wisp
It's two weeks after the evacuations started, that was the day everything went wrong. Telling 5 million panicked, angry, and scared people to leave a city is a disaster in of itself, but add a monster to the equation, and it becomes hell. Maybe some people are still alive in the city, maybe they're all dead. Or kind of dead. What matters now is that we're alive, and they haven't found us yet. But I know that we cannot stay here for long. Welcome to Zombea V3 Gameplay: You post what you want your character to do, and the GM (me) tells you how it goes. The only way to kill the starting (and possibly only zombies) is to destroy the brain. Remember that. [hide=Map][/hide]We start on the far left side, on the border of Farmland and Forest. [hide=Classes:] Police: One of the few surviving from the city's finest. You got your gun, one loaded magazine, and not much else. The new world needs food, and you're ready.Starting Skills: Farming level 3, Small Arms 1Starting Equipment: Double Barrel Shotgun, 8 12 gauge shells, bag of corn seeds, shovel.Bonus: Things you plant and take care of have a 60% higher chance of success, and grow 30% faster. You also do 20% more damage with a shotgun than other classes to start. Scientist:You spent the past year of your life telling the world the apocalypse would never come like this. You were wrong.Starting Skills: (pick one) Electronics level 3 OR Medicine Level 3 OR Chemistry Level 3Starting Equipment: 5 sticks of dynamite, lighter.Bonus: You are better at making sciency stuff than other classes, and healing others, regardless of which skill you picked. That's your job.Starting Skills: Repair Level 2, Electronics Level 2Starting Equipment: Blowtorch, Some fuel, car repair tools, bowie knife. Bonus: Car's or vehicles fixed by a Mechanic will be in better shape than those fixed by anyone else (assuming same skills), and will have 10% better fuel efficiency.
