the420rythme
so i started runcrafting and really enjoyed it ever since, but getting to a higher lvl in this skill seems to take a while, so i was wondering what is the faster exp with just plain running back and forth (using musician of course) crafting fire runes (192 exp per inventory) or crafting airs (140 exp per inventory) is it worth the extra distance to get the extra exp, or the shorter distance with less exp!?!? Now the air running has a bank a lot closer so i figure its worth doing that instead because of the profit it also makes me, but just getting the exp from the fires also takes less rune essence to get to the lvl i want... 44 if that wasn't obvious (Natures ftw! ) I am however working on getting the earth RC gloves for the double exp, so bare in mind i will use thoughs as soon as i get them. Thanks,The 420 Rythme Current goal:
Mythrandir
Use rings of duelling to craft fire runes = almost no walking.
the420rythme
i really dont want to have to spend on extra stuff like that so i think im going to go with the traditional walking method Current goal:
Aiel
youd have to value your time at like 5k gp/ph to not use rings of dueling... DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). D. V. Devnull
420rythme, did you know there are air rc gloves that would allow you to double the air rc exp to 280 per packload? ~D. V. "Just thought I'd ask..." Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... ghjkl
Maybe he's f2p?If not use duelings with fire runes, if f2p then do airs.
the420rythme
yes i did know there were rc gloves for air, water, and earth. but as for using a ring of dueling to do fire runes i really dont want to spend any extra cash i have Current goal:
Mythrandir
Maybe he's f2p?If not use duelings with fire runes, if f2p then do airs. He's going to have a hard time crafting natures if he's f2p then. Seriously, I know it seems like you make less money when you spend it on rings of dueling, but it saves SO much time. You'll make it up in a heartbeat as soon as you get to nats

The_Fray
Dueling Rings are free to use, bank them when they are on their last charge, then sell them on the ge.
geesch
You need to value your time as a cost/efficiency calculation. By choosing to not spend money on duel rings, you are saying to us that you are capable of making almost no money per hour, which is hopefully not true. The thing is, time saved is time where money could be made. If you spend extra time, it should be because it is more efficient that way. I can assure you, it isnt efficient for you to do that. Just use duel rings. You will not need any more than 100 duel rings to get to 44. Once you get to nats, you will make it back. To further beat the efficiency to death, would you walk to craft nats? I hope you say no. If so, why would you walk for fires?
Bows
Just use the duelling rings. You're being pretty stubborn about something that shouldn't even be argued over, they save so much time that it's not even funny.

This, but, let's be honest, the OP has decided to cripple himself by not using the rings... that's his personal choice. To answer your question, I'm fairly sure that airs walking are faster. I piety the fool.
