July 21, 201015 yr i saw an ad for it in a gaming magazine quite awhile ago. i know it may be a bit childish but it seems like it might be a good game. plus, a fresh mmo from a company that has the resources to pump millions of dollars into a game should be interesting. i'm assuming the player base will be horrible, but check it out and discuss http://universe.lego.com/en-us/thegame/default.aspx Staking: 4+ mil Current Status: Training defense
July 22, 201015 yr Author wait I'm sorry. this game seems like a huge joke now. not only do you have to order the game online but its also $10 a month. better yet they haven't released any information that would attract hardcore players -.- Staking: 4+ mil Current Status: Training defense
July 22, 201015 yr Several MMO's cost more than that per month to play...although for a new title with a somewhat questionable reputation it might be a bit high. To be fair, Lego Star Wars was such a fun game. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
July 22, 201015 yr Author yeah but games like WoW have been established to live up to that $15 a month cost. for the demographic that a lego game would entail.. it seems unlikely that anyone would go for such a high price, especially at release. i think a lego game would perform MUCH better as a f2p game with micro payments. Or a f2p game that used codes (for extra content) given on each lego set (in stores) to get stuff in game. now that would be a great business idea. July 22, 201015 yr Definitely. It is possible that charging $10 won't be successful, and they may end up changing their payment system. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
July 22, 201015 yr If they do it right it could be amazing... Though that could be said for just about anything. Eh, I'm a pretty big Lego fan, not sure I can say anything bad about it yet  I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
July 23, 201015 yr Lego Universe. Its kinda a big disappointment for me. Just like WOW, with all the monthly fees, but its LEGO style. And just when I've already lost hope for Lego... <_< Barrows Items: 1x Dharok's Platelegs, 1x Veracs's Plateskirt, 1x Dharok's Greataxe, 2x Torag's Platelegs, 1x Akrisae's War Mace, 1x Ahrim's Robeskirt, 3x Akrisae's Robetop, 1x Guthan's Warspear, 1x Akrisae's Robeskirt, 1x Torag's Helm, 2x Verac's Brassard, 1x Karil's Pistol Crossbow
July 24, 201015 yr Paying $40 to buy the game, plus $90 a year for a subscription isn't worth it. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
August 1, 201015 yr Just got a email from them. Got chosen to "Beta Test" for them. But too much information about age, and needing parents permission. I ain't doing that crap. <_< Barrows Items: 1x Dharok's Platelegs, 1x Veracs's Plateskirt, 1x Dharok's Greataxe, 2x Torag's Platelegs, 1x Akrisae's War Mace, 1x Ahrim's Robeskirt, 3x Akrisae's Robetop, 1x Guthan's Warspear, 1x Akrisae's Robeskirt, 1x Torag's Helm, 2x Verac's Brassard, 1x Karil's Pistol Crossbow
August 1, 201015 yr If it was free, I'd be straight on it. But at that cost, no thanks. :-| #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod

I ain't doing that crap. <_< :P So did I, only my parents wouldn't download the game. I already gave them all the random crap they wanted though, because I was already a Lego Club member... I'd pay for it if it were $5 a month and someone gifted me the $40 software. RS isn't worth $5 a month but LEGO probably would be. Hoping that happens when a bunch of people decide it's not worth it for $90 a year. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
August 2, 201015 yr OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE LEGO GAMES!<3 1. "My ear's in a cup, I guess that doesn't count..."2. "So heyyy, that's a pretty reasonable reaction huh?"3. "So you up for NAFTA?"4. "That went exactly how I wanted it to."
August 2, 201015 yr If it was free, I'd be straight on it. But at that cost, no thanks. :-|My thoughts exactly. I don't have the time to bother with games I have to pay for every month.

I don't have the time to bother with games I have to pay for every month.I hope you don't like that sort of payment plan. You're gonna live by it. Anyway, for $15 for a new MMO seems much. $10 would be reasonable. In fact, I think no MMO should be more than $10 a month. In fact, I think no MMO should be more than $10 a month.I'd think that $15 could be reasonable for established MMOs, but charging that much right off the bat for a brand new one is a bit ridiculous. Did sign up for the beta, at any rate. For what it's worth, it's fun. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
