Clues where either uri emotes, or puzzle boxes, with only one step being a box search (bandit camp)

 

Reward was Rune full helm, Rune platebody, 12 Lobsters, 18 Mahogany planks and a Guthix full helm.

This was an extremely long clue... 4 compasses, 2 knot puzzles, 1 sliding puzzle, and 3 scan orbs.

It may have been a coincidence, but it seems so far that every time a guthix wizard spawned, the next clue was either an orb or compass. Every time one didn't spawn, the next clue was a knot puzzle or sliding puzzle.

I think it's pretty evident at this point that the clues aren't as predictable as before, and instead of writing guides that provide you concrete solutions to the clues, it would be better to write a guide that focuses on the methodology of how to do them.

 

Example:

For the compass (spinning arrow) clue, use a divide and conquer search (binary search) algorithm. Teleport between cities - first cities far apart, and then closer together - and when you feel like you're close, start running around, until you find that the compass is moving rapidly. If your compass is moving more often you are getting closer. etc etc

The compass ones appear to be at certain points though so there has to be a limit to the number there are. Sure there might be a lot of them but they aren't completely random and having a rough idea where it might be is always good.

Makes sense, that's what I thought. I hadn't seen the info anywhere else so I didn't know if it had been figured out yet ;]

was a lvl 4 eliite clue 2 orb scans that are not listed was in it

1 was 22 paces in the chaos tunnels was in room 14 with the moss giants

 

the other was within the walls of east and west ardy 22 paces its behind the church in west ardy, i hope this helps :)

I noticed the arow isn't there anymore, sadly, but there's still the chat to confirm I'm 1 pace away from the dig spot. It would be 1 South from my current position.

 

This spot is between the Cockatrices and the Pyrefiends.

I had a elite clue scroll. And i had to find a place in the brimhaven dungeon (14 paces)

I found the clue by scanning at the stepping stones.

 

So if you enter the dungeon, proceed to the first vines. chop them... then you will see other vines. chop them too.

go farther into that room, where you see an island surounded by lava. walk around in by clicking on the clue ( scan clue). Now you'll see an arrow pointing to the location...

I killed a Desert StrykeWyrm for this Elite Clue, and as I reviewed the compass clues on the tip.it website, (unless I overlooked) this compass spot wasn't on the list. It's northwest of the crafting guild between the two willow trees. Here's a pic I've included. I got this clue after I did a scan clue in Keldagrim in the southeast corner of the city, in a small building.

Ok since i havent done an elite clue scroll, i dont have any pictures or anything, but i was helping my friend and we found a scan in ardugne clue. We looked in the places on the guide but it wasnt there. It was south elena's house and north of the pottery oven. Also another one in zanaris, a bit south of the bank. Another one, fremmy slayer dungeon, in the back of the rockslug room. Thats all for now =p

I clicked the link from the Elite Treasure Trial section on the website. I have a couple of things to add regarding scan and arrow clues:

 

Brimhaven Scan: Mine was in the Red Dragon section of the dungeon (the red dragon section is near the metal dragon section)

 

Arrow Clue: between Tai Bwon Village and the east coast of Karamja.

 

Also a tip on a couple of things if you want them:

 

- With arrow clues check the direction once you receive the scroll or from a safe location like draynor bank. From one arrow you can draw a line on a world map picture (or in your mind). Then teleport to a location that is not on this line, but near it and check the arrow. You will now have two arrows from two seperate locations pointing in slightly different directions. Then use the world map to identify a small area where you estimate the two arrows would intersect and tele there. From that point you can keep the arrow up and run either left to right or north to south to create a perfectly straight arrow in the one direction.

- Celtic Knot: I did this just the once but this is my theory/advice:

The Silver track crosses through the Red and Blue tracks however the Red and Blue are completely seperate. As it is highly unlikely that you can get a perfect match between say Red and Silver yet no position of the blue track will complete the puzzle, you just need to concentrate on matching the Silver with one of the two colours. From that i just judged common runes between the Silver and Blue tracks to get 4 matching runes and then moved the Red track in one direction all the way round and it did work.

(I've just seen another Celtic Knot puzzle and this tactic only works when red and blue do not intersect!)
