darkblade986
http://www.tip.it/runescape/?rs2monster_id=1459 So I understand all of Ihlakhizan's attacks. Problem is that he just keeps murdering me. Specifically, the acid attack routinely damages me for 600+. What is the effective way to kill him or at least to dodge the Acid AoE? don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

Kirbyallstar
Lure him into his own acid if you can to reduce his defence.
Quyneax
Erm.. that would be Bal'Lak, Kirby. I otherwise don't have a clue, but I hear you can solo him (a five-man shadowforger that is) by gatestoneing out after each attack... Zephy
Shadow forger is supposed to hit you crazy hard, his acid and tentacles are both unavoidable. (I heard there's one safe square due to AI issues but you can't attack him from it anyway.) Spam food and hit him hard in return, as his defense is actually quite low. His difficulty is usually such that a team will go through most of an inventory of food each before he goes down. Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate. TheAncient
Try switching between melee prot and mage prot. Some people say it's easier not to get KO'ed on melee prot.. for the most part I agree. Melee protects you from the bouncing attack and mage (i think) protects you from the splashes) Also, safe up. Whenever you get hit below 700 HP eat. Don't walk behind the column (other than for specs obviously) cause you still get hit by it He dies pretty quickly if everyone has strongs and turm. Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? I'm not sure what you're doing, but if you stay behind the pillars and the thing isn't charging up an explosion, little shadow hands hit you for consistent 200+, which ruins the idea of going behind the pillar to eat. ~It's Super Effective! Also, pray protect/deflect melee, as the spinning attack is the ONLY attack that can be prayed against.
