ok i have never gotten these before and i want to do the task

 

what is the best way to kill them and what kind of armor should i bring

 

Att/str/def: 87

range: 81

hp 88

mage: 96

 

the guide says to range them is that the best?

 

also what summon should i bring a bunyip or a bob?

Regular tank melee or range setups will work. Also you need super antipoisons or better.

Melee is fine (use super pots). Also take 2 super anti poison per super set. Since they are quite close to a bank, a healing familiar is most usefull to use. If you use guthan's, take a BoB. GL

Meleeing them works fine, also they don't hit very much and they drop a lot of lobsters usually people just take a bunyip though and leave the lobsters on the floor, i never bring a healing pet and always heal with the lobsters that are dropped.

Very easy to kill, just melee with standard melee gear and bunyip, dodge the special attack when they use it, and bring super antipoisons. You can range too if you like, they're not particularly weak against any one style.

You can also add a cannon into the mix or either range or melee, you'll use between 900-1500 cannonballs per task, but strykewyrms are very weak to these attacks and die quickly.

Melee works fine, they tend to drop enough to keep me going, but I start the trip with two/three sharks just in case.

What about the poison? You just let them poison you?

The prayer book can cure poison at the cost of prayer points.

I tried it without anti-poison once and just used a unicorn to cure the poison, and it was a pain. Without the immunity you get from an anti you end up constantly curing yourself. It's well worth using an anti to avoid all of the hassle.

This is an easy task, and is really close to bank (mobilising armies)

I use full melee, extreme pots, buniyp (saves me from wasting time picking up/eating lobs), 1 x super antipoison, cannon.

Boring task TBH but gets you the slayer points.
