Hey guys, im a bit bored and since i recently got my battle robes and im too lazy to start bursting rock lobsters, I thought I'd have some fun at Iron Dragons and hopefully get a clue or a dragon drop (lol, I want a f in visage :)

 

Im going to use the equipment shown below, it has an magic attack bonus of 98 (anti dfs) and 15% dmg boost.

 

So what i need to know is if it would be more cost efficient to use blast instead of bolts w/ chaos gauntlets? Since I already have battle robes I would save more using Blast? What is more cost efficient? I can get money fairly fast, would I save myself time and trouble using Blast or is the difference low?

Use surge.

Go with fire wave, blood runes are about the same price as deaths, it speeds the kills and irons drop frequently bloods.

Check my levels, only 76 magic :( i can use fire wave at most, would that be even better?

You won't be cost efficient anyway considering you have 76 magic and low mage bonus but if you are to have fun, use the best spell possible. At least that's my usual advice, some people do actually get enjoyment in watching pain dry.

Do you think i should bank bones to break even or profit, or to camp for a higher chance of drops/clue?

I'd advise for banking bones if you were to use the frozen castle place to kill them and could do it fast and efficient, but assuming you are to use briwhaven dungeon, no, it just takes way too much time.

Again, a person saying using the best spell you can. If you can somehow use that ancient castle place in the wilde for fast banking that's nice, if your using Brim don't bank bones.

Ice fortress won't work because you need to be either on ancients or lunars to tele there.

Iron dragons aren't really worth killing if you can't bank the bones, frankly. You might as well find something else to fight. Maybe blues instead.

Not sure if I've ever scene someone mage blues before? Metals are really good to mage, and its actually pretty fun you may lose you may win you never now. But soon as you get that visage if you stick with it long enough I know you'd be happy. I was... 99 magic tonight from (roughly 75) all at metals. <3:

 

Edit: I always recommend the best fire spell you can use! Especially considering you are using brobes + SOL.

Oh you should also take the time to get an arcane stream necklace, it's very pro :thumbup:

I'm getting the Arcane stream necklace, because it is very pro :D:D I have 47 dungeoneering, and I'll play alot of it in the double exp weekend ^^

 

Soon ill look like my pro 99 ranged and mage friend ^^ i only need the arcane stream, barrows gloves and fire cape ;) easy peasy

250 bloods: 100K ~

2 antifires: 16k

other runes: ~ 20K

 

Exp:

 

33k magic exp.

Uknown HP exp

 

Profit: 40K

 

I don't think thats bad at all, doesnt take too long to bank, and i was a bit ineffective, so i couldve been faster..

But still good and i got alot of 200's :D
