Aeon_
I'm motivated to get void range now. Would this be the best set-up? I can't get arma. Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber

Aeon_
Any specific reason? Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Tafkan
According to Jagex, you get the set bonus either way, and the second set-up seems to have higher bonuses at everything you'll need while ranging. Can't see how the first one could be any better, I'd go with the second one. DarkerFalz
Void only works if you have the full set (top, helm, bottom, and gloves) so I say the first. EDIT: At below, I didn't know that. I withdraw my comment about it working with top/bottom/helm/gloves.I still say the first, because the shield (to me) isn't all that great. If you're using void range, you don't need the extra defense, because I'm assuming you're safe-spotting.If you don't safe-spot, you should really be tank ranging, not using void.Just my 2 cents
Aeon_
Void only works if you have the full set (top, helm, bottom, and gloves) so I say the first. No, you need helm and 3 pieces of void. The shield is a piece of void. Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Jagex said you need 3 out of 4 pieces (which apparently includes the shield thingy), so the second would work just as well. Xenful
Void only works if you have the full set (top, helm, bottom, and gloves) so I say the first. In the KB, it says you only need 3 out of 4 of the set, and the helm. since the new buckler thing counts. [Hide][/Hide]
Sinkhan
I would also choose the second. +22 ranged attack and +15 mage defence over the first. While we're on the topic, how could we apply this for melee set-ups? Rune def is pretty hard to beat in most cases. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Troacctid
Yeah, go with the d'hide body. The attack is more important. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
Knoll_Saleh
Personally I would go with the second setup. As you want higher range attack. That provides it so go with it. And personally I like the look better :) [hide=Drops]Dragon; Dagger:2 Med Helm:1Barrows;GWD; Tassey:1 Shard:2 Bandos Hilt:1 Bandos Boots:1Corp; Arcane Sigil:1[/hide]
Aeon_
Thinking about it, should I get the melee helm too? Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Troacctid
Thinking about it, should I get the melee helm too?Doesn't seem like there's much point in it, or at least not any more than there would have been in the past, since the shield isn't good with the melee set anyway (the rune defender is your most valuable piece of armor offensively, other than slayer helm). So using barrows gloves can be a good option. Legalize baby punching. Tax and regulate it. Punch babies erry day.
Quyneax
The best setup for things like armoured zombies would be with barrows gloves + deflector. You'd be sacrificing +8 stab, +7 slash and +6 crush (attack bonusus) to get +7 strength, also gaining just under 20 melee defence and just under 40 ranged defence. For range, acp (or another range top) + deflector is best as it boosts your accuracy, which used to be the weak point of void range. While chinning, you'd have a sw cape + fury (which you can borrow, no excuse not to have one) so your prayer bonus is plenty high already. With the deflector, void range is now probably the best for metal dragons as well (if you wanted to range them at all).
