Posted this in OT, but meh, it could go here too.

I went to a show post-harcore show last night. But it was a friend's birthday party, and it wasn't half bad. It was 7 post-hardcore bands which Im not too big on, but it was fun regardless. I felt like the only person dressed normally (meaning not girl jeans and dyed hair). Only bands I heard the names of were Create Avoid and A Shipwreck, A Castaway. During the ASAC set, in a circle pit there was something on the floor because the bassist from Create Avoid slipped and slammed into the floor, he ended up shattering his kneecap or something to that extent and just crawled out of the pit, like booked it on his hands, the show essentially ended right there. sounds like that would have hurt a little bit

They have a magazine for todays new post-hardcore/metalcore bands now. There first issue is coming soon. Its called metalcore magazine

I don't see much genuine Punky post-hardcore in this thread, so how about a bit of good ol' Orchid. Also an odd band with some elements of post-hardcore in some of their songs: Suffocate For [bleep] Sake.

Pop Goes Punk vol III comes out on Nov 2nd, as does Escape The Fate's new album [same producer as Hybrid Theory, so I'm actually excited]

But more importantly - new A Day to Remember album comes out November 16th and it looks GORGEOUS :D :D :D
