Dungeoneering

Featured Replies

I'm training my dungeoneering to 85, and I want to know the fastest method possible.

Everyone says 1-29/30 should be 1:5 small rushes/1:2 small rushes, or 1:1 small rushes, I'm okay with this, it works fine, it's fast, it's easy.

But now I'm on floor 30/31, and I try to make a 5:5 large rush, and lets be honest, these always take over an hour, and you usually get between 30 and 50k exp.

Would it be faster to solo medium or solo small or even 1:2/1:5 the medium/small to get faster exp/hour?

80+ dungeoneer's tell me that making a 5:5 large rush is the best way to go, but people don't rush, even with ssh, they stand there waiting for someone else to go into the next room. They hoard drops, stand around, refuse to cooperate, etc, etc. I don't think I've ever gotten more than 50k exp for a large dungeon, and I don't think I've ever finished a large dungeon in under 50 minutes.

You can't possibly tell me that 5:5 large rushes in w 117 are the best possible idea, people are lazy.

So, like I said, I'm wondering, is there is a different option to faster exp?

This is going to be totally unhelpful, I'm sure, but I'm 74 dungeoneering and I'm planning on soloing all the way to 85, just because I can't stand world 117. It's probably faster to just deal with w117, but I don't think it's worth the stress, honestly.

/my two cents.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Well I'm in the same boat, obviously. It's just too damn stressful to deal with all these little kids >.<

I just don't know if it's faster/slower to do it by yourself or with friends/small team, mixing and matching, etc etc...

I'd be willing to duo with you sometime, though?

world 117 isnt worth it at all. Go on the forums and look for a clan, there are many.

I go by this method:

F1-19=small complexity 1 rush.

F20-29=med rush, complexity 6.(dont unlock the doors if you have already unlocked the boss room.)

f30+=large rush.(unlock all doors)

Try starting and advertising your own team in W117 with high requirements (130 CB, 70+ DG, for example). That helps to filter out the ragequitters and leechers, to an extent.

I just got done with a dungeon, 136/137/138 only, 2k+ total only, 70+ dungeon only, and it took us almost 2 hours to complete floor 33, for 49.5k exp.

I'm sorry, hell no, [bleep] that.

Also, I ALWAYS make my own team, always 130+ and 2k+ total, so I tried something even more "elite" and it took LONGER.

Learn to not completely rely on your teammates? for example....KEY. Yes, the most significant factor to a successful fast dungeon is to be a great key runner- that way you will never have to consider the team when considering your hourly xp. The best dungeoneers are also great key runners.

Truth be told I've never keyed, is there anything that makes a good keyer... good?

Memory and good use of gatestones.

Having the highest levels of the team is also an asset, as door levels are scaled to team levels you'll be able to do more doors yourself (taking them out of bad player's hands).

Considering that you're 135+, you'll probably be able to get on the w77 teams.

Just logged onto 77, what in the hell does 47+4 mean? >.<

Like xpx said, you'll have to key yourself. If you rely on others, then you'll be sorely disappointed

and +4 just means 4 more people are needed.
