Is it worth it to kill my 79 iron dragons in kuradals dung? I dont have a fero ring yet, and i dont bank the bones.

Even without fero ring I would say yes because they are more convient than brimhaven, there are 4 spawns that are close together and I can usually have an empty world to myself most of the time. Also if you get a fero ring it will speed your task up alot and they aren't that rare as a drop.

I assumed you would cannon them in the wild if you didnt kill them in kurdals :unsure:

Cannoning in the wildy/resource dungeon is still slower than kurdals dungeon(mostly because of the positioning, cannon 90% of the time hits dragons once per round), the fact that you don't have a fero ring yet is poor, but there's all the more reason to get one off of irons as soon as possible.

Have you ever heard of efficiency? He doesn't have 85+agility/96+summoning or an endless supply of ferocious rings, so it'd be very inefficient to bank bones. Also, if you can make 4m an hour and value your time higher than that(xp is money) it'd also be inefficient to bank bones even with a yak. Just as you asked if he is insane, the real question i should ask you is: are you poor?(as it is much more relevant)

Sure it does knock efficiency very marginally but it is still worthwhile banking dragon bones.

That's the 1 item like no-one ever leaves/wastes by normal burying.

It's what makes dragon tasks worthwhile, especially metals, since their drops can be a bit hit n miss and they take a fair bit of effort to kill compared to most other taskes

The knock is anything but marginal if one wants to slay efficiently. In the end, the time saved should be worth more then the bones themselves.

 

Just because you are poor and inefficient doesn't mean we all should be.

Poor is a relative term lol. TO me, im swimming in money with 11m right now, but yo most players, thats llike having 100k in f2p.

Idk, I am pretty lazy and I wouldn't bank the bones either. But only because I can bring a unicorn and use piety and "afk".

I usually pray melee and kill them without banking since I don't have a yak yet. It's personal preference to not waste time running back and forth with a tortoise.

It will slow you down, no matter what. The degree of slowing largely depends on how active you are, and i agree, at the best pace and no lag, the difference would be barely noticeable, but still there(the drop piles would always need to be within 2,4 seconds within 90 seconds, and at max pace, they aren't). Also you have to consider the sheer amount of additional attention you have to pay, which is very noticeable(and sooner or later will slow you down). If you are telling me that you can play with full attention efficiently, good for you, but most, if not nearly all players won't be able to play as long hours with full attention as they would with half-afk training, with the only loss being lower charms and dragon bones, which aren't a major loss. By the way, i am not talking about an hour a day, just to be clear.

I just assumed that when you slay you don't get continually iron-steel-iron-steel tasks. You're just luckier than I, I suppose.

 

E: also at 120 steels/h kill rate, you get about 600k bones in an hour. Your 4m/h rate implies that by not picking up bones you save 9 minutes? Lies.
