primal battle axe

I've been trying for a primal bax ever since i got 89 dungeoneering so that i could use my tank ring. The problem is every time i get yk' lagor on a 5:5 we all get slaughtered. (i actually found out that there is a limit to how many times you can die in daemonheim today...)

 

I think i should be able to kill him in a solo dungeon when i don't have to worry about other people lagging in order to kill a boss but i have never gotten a primal item on a solo.

 

So can you even get primal items from solo or does it have to be 5:5?

I've gotten a Primal Dagger whilst soloing. Not sure if you can get useful items though.

You can get primal items on solo.

I've gotten both a primal pickaxe and hatchet from solo. Much more likely to get them in teams though.

You could just tell the team to gtfo the boss room and solo it yourself.

Might work. But then i would have to hope no one gets bored from waiting for me to take down a level 600 by myself and rush in and ruin all my work.

I always thought they wanted to leech as much as possible.

I always thought random people, if they die once during thunderous, won't go do it again lol.

I think its only extremely rare on solos

And the fact that one of them may just take the baxe for themselves. I wouldn't try to do that.

You can get t11 from medium solos rarely. I am not sure about c6 smalls, but you definitely can't for c1 smalls.

Start playing with friends, and when you find that boss, make them promise to give you the battle axe. You can get primal on smalls, but it is incredibly rare. Perhaps you can find someone who is lucky at dungeon, and hope it rubs off. It appears to, I've had 3 Shadow Silk hoods come through in the last 7 spiders, which made 2 team members rather happy. Just hope someone feels nice.

No, the Primal battleaxe is worse, however, you can use the Tank ring if you equip any shield. I do believe, however, that the Primal rapier would be a better choice?

Yes, you CAN get primal weapons from c6 smalls, I've gotten a rapier and dagger that way.

The baxe vs. rapier debate seems to be, approximately, xpx vs. the rest (though I love my (gorgonite) rapier). The rapier is very, very good for C1 rushes, but less so for larges.
