drgnslyer_15
I think Reggie Bush deserves to win the heisman this year.... He's a great running back and he's already being compared to all the greatest RBs to play the game.. Vince Young isn't as good as Reggie bush IMO and Matt Leinart didn't do as well as he did last year... Who do you think should win?? I'm in the Texas Tech band, I saw Reggie Bush several times this year. No, he is very overrated, and everyone I know at A&M agrees. Vince Young is at least a powerhouse. Of course, I am more happy about Dwayne Slay getting Player of the Year from Sports Illustrated than any of those two getting that silly trophy. vladmoney
ok its not I think anymore, i am pretty sure everyone already knows he is going to win. Its no secret. Visit my DeviantArt Page at http://vladmoney.deviantart.com

drgnslyer_15
Reggie won it... Reggie Bush is a much better athlete than Vince Young. Leinart is a better QB than Young Leinart had more yards passing, more tds and less interceptions.... Young only ran for like 3 more tds than Leinart. the only reason people think vince young is any good is cause he can scramble... OSU has a scrambling QB but he sucks at passing.. Well congratz to reggie... and i hope USC beats the piss out of overrated texas and since i live in ohio i hope OSU beats Notre Dame in the fiesta bowl RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp
Barihawk
I love how the media concentrates on these one-man teams. I hope Vince Young gets drafted so Texas will die off. A&M is not a good team. Its hard for top 20 teams to win at Kyle and BAYLOR did it. Let's not forget the Tech Game: I think all these sports shows should honor good teams instead of good players. Texas Tech has the best offense in the nation by hundreds of yards but nobody really gives us any credit for it. We've had the best collegiate quarterbacks for years (Major Applewhite, Cliff Kingsbury, etc). USC is a great example of a total team. You don't hear about all-star players on thier team, but look at what they are doing. Same with Notre Dame. For me, the Heisman Trophy is a joke. Glorifying one player on a team instead of the whole team makes the NCAA look like the NFL, which is sad. I enjoy collegiate sports because of the fair play and the fact that they play for fun instead of millions of dollars and fame. drgnslyer_15
i really do like college football.. Its much more exciting than NFL.. NFL footbal is so annoying cause of the big mouths like Terrell owens and the people who celebrate far too much for one little TD.. The NFL just seemed like it got a lil ridiculous USC had 3 people in the top 10 for heisman voting i do believe.. They are a pretty solid team. They are pretty well off on def and they have a solid reciever in Dwayne Jarrett.. Their offense is fun to watch.. i liked to watch Bush run he reminds of watching barry sanders but with a better offensive line lol. I do like OSU though since they are the main NCAA football team in my state.. OSU isn't exactly a push over... OSU has a tough def but we lack a solid offense in my opinion. Troy Smith would be a good QB if he would be more patient and wait for things to develop. Teddy Ginn i am not sure what his deal is he has his moments.. he's been F'in up on punt returns... pittman seemed to have improved alot. OSU has a very solid def Anthony Schlegel, A.J. Hawk, and Bobby Carpenter are 3 of the best LB's in college football. IMO the best trio of LBs in the game... scks that Carpenter got injured in the Michigan tho. My friend and I were talkin about college football we both support OSU. I asked him which team he'd want us to go vs in the bowl game. Cause Msn said we'd play either Virginia tech or Notre dame.. He wanted us to play Notre Dame casue virginia Tech wouldn't be much of a challenge for us and Notre Dame has a better team it would be a more exciting game. Foxsports.com has rank on which bowl games to watch ... 1. USC vs Texas 2. OSU vs Notre dame 3. Texas tech vs Alabama http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/5141066 RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp
Arcticrunite
I'm in the Texas Tech band, I saw Reggie Bush several times this year. I feel for you, putting up with Bobby Knight :P Honestly, i think Vince Young should have gotten it, if you take Reggie away from USC they still have Lendale White and Matt Leinert, but take Vince away from Texas and who else do they have? Besides people only voted for the last 3-4 games which Reggie dominated, but hey As for the bowl games comment: I dont feel like watching the Rose Bowl, ill pass on it, just doesnt have that flavour it needs cause everyone knows Carrol > Mack in coaching

Escape5
USC just plays easy teams. He isnt one of the greatest running backs to ever play the game at all. That is a load of bull. Vince Young definately deserved it more then Bush. Not many QBs can rush and throw like he can. OO Bush breaks a couple tackles and gets a few big runs.. Thats all. Young throws, runs, breaks tackles, and has amazing agility.

Alley_Oops
Matt Leinert was actually better statistically then last year, yet he was last out of the three in votes. Vince Young is not a great quarterback, but a great athlete. As for bowl games, the 2 I am FOR SURE watching Ohio State vs. Notre Dame and Iowa vs. Florida.... Bubsa
From an ignorant perspective, I think it's brilliant how America recognises the talent of a state, especially when you consider its huge size. In Britain, you don't get anything that's even close to the recognition college football players get. OK, the funding and the set up is completely different and the comparison is a pretty futile one, but I'd seriously love coverage like this in England. When you think about it, these guys are still kids. It makes it much more personal, in a sense, when someone near your age is having such a big impact in the country, probably explaining why many of you are saying you prefer college football over the NFL. I think its great the recognition these people get and I'd jump at the chance to experience it, even if it meant watching as a spectator. How about it? Think America would dig a 17 year old scouse rugby player to come over and teach you a few tricks? :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. I dont mind, as it could result in Texas Tech making it to the Rose Bowl. Not like we would win or anything, but it could happen :P. And Bobby Knight is a nice guy, as long as you don't piss him off. I actually had dinner with him one night...well...sat at same table but not with him :). Wow your ignorance stuns me, Who besides OSU did Texas play that was even remotely good, Sorry Barihawk but your Raiders aren't as good as everyone thought, but the still can put up some good numbers. USC had a harder schedule then Texas, they played ND, on a side note the OSU vs. ND should be awesome, They also played Fresno State, Oregon, all three of those teams are pretty good, and Reggie Bush had huge games which led to wins. ON your Vince Young is such a Great Athlete, Two words Michael Vick. He may be a great athlete but in the pros he will be destroyed. Played against 5 ranked teams at the time of schedule 6 of these teams are bowl bound, Oregon, AZ State, ND, Cal, FresSt, UCLA. USC's schedule WAS NOT SOFT, they played in a strong conference (Pac-10) which was moderatley tough, not SEC like Texas now, thats an easy schedule, very easy, Colorado isnt what it used to be, Texas Tech (sorry barihawk!) didnt put up much of a fight, and they played Lousiana-Layfeyette RAGIN CAJUNS! (who the hell?) Texas's best opponent was Ohio State, USC played ND, Oregon, Fresno State, and UCLA
drgnslyer_15
Texas nearly lost to OSU... OSU's def is no push over.. Their offense just needs to get a better rhythm goin and they would be pretty good.. Their recievers have speed and their RB isn't all too bad... I haven't seen a ND game this year but my friend told me that they are supposed to be a really good team. ND almost beat USC.
