What is the best way (besides bursting rock lobs) for me to collect say 500 crimson charms?

Hmm... I'm not sure... You can try it and run back to zanaris bank if needed. If you can't do fiends, try greater demons.

You can do them without Bunyip, you just can't stay as long and can't make use of the raw fish drops. If you take a T-bird with extra food, and go through the fairy ring, or use the drop trick, you can stay a bit longer. With you stats you should still be able to get quite a decent amount of charms before having to bank.

Yea, them soldiers are what i used from 40 summoning ish to 62. Also try ct daganoths, greater demons, nechraeyls.

Cannoning scarabites also works, but it's very intense and somewhat dangerous. If you need ranged xp more than magic xp, you could try it out.

Yeah, you can do them w/out bunyips.

 

Waterfiends are quite easy as long as you have a decent def/att/str. Use a Z Spear to kill them, and pray range while attacking them. Should be able to get 500 crimsons within like 10 or so hours.

Don't forget to kill Bork everyday. Normally he drops 7 crims, 5 blues and 2 greens (unless you've done Varrock elite diary which doubles the drops).

Also cannoning wallasalkis (which gives mainly blues, but ~90 crims worth of charms / h) and chinning nechs (a bit less crims / h I think) are good ways if you're ranging.

Also, if you slay, I find my slayer = summoning using all the charms from slayer. And slayer is awesome.
