epitaph_o
How much on average would 66-99 crafting cost? I have about 100m that I would like to spend on a skill but I cannot decide what skill to spend it on. Would my money be spent better on herblore? I do not melee. How much would 92 herblore cost? I could use extreme range pots for slayer.

You would be using up a majority of your money if you did crafting without stealing creation tools. Herblore is always worth it, but if you melee it loses its luster. I would say don't worry about 99's and just get an assortment of your skills up.
Langzee
This is completely dependant on how you plan on getting 99 crafting. I'll give you two methods though. Green d'hide bodies and Battlestaves. Green D'Hide Bodies [hide]For this method you will need to make 67,410 Bodies to achieve 99 Crafting. This requires 202,230 Tanned D'Hides in total. ** 202,230 * 1,931 = 390,506,130gp (~390.5m)** Add 100K for cost of thread. The finished bodies can be sold for 4,581gp each (Market Price on G.E.) 4,581 * 67,410 = 308,805,210gp (~310m) So now subtract the final sales, from materials purchased. 390,506,130 - 308,805,210 = 81,700,920gp For a final price of ~82m for 99 Crafting using Green Dragonhide Bodies.[/hide] I do not know the right calculations for the air battlestaff option, but I believe it is somewhere in the 50-60m neighbourhood. Hope this helped! :D The fantasies of today, shall forever be known as the ideas of tomorrow.99/99 Thieving || 95/99 Woodcutting || 98/99 Magic || 90/99 RangeProud Owner of 600 Total F2P Skiller - G Te Eff Oh (Gtfo)

Vezon Dash
Air battle staves are about 55-60M for 99. It's extremely fast experience per hour too.
Vulxai
I would actually get 70 prayer first. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Big_Stingman
I would actually get 70 prayer first. He doesn't melee though apparently? Still, getting 70 prayer is a good idea. In fact, I would suggest going as high as your bank allows for prayer. :) And maybe get some other skills up to, not just one. If you are really set on 99 crafting though, head over to Tip.it's calcs to figure out exact numbers and costs.
NastyJenny
90-99 can be made by profiting by giving crafting assists and doing daily battlestaffs, just pointing it out since OP hasn't any Assistable skill at the 90 range.
Avid43
I've got 99 Crafting (well I will have it tomorrow) from 86 over the last 3 weeks. It's cost me around 40m doing green dragonhide bodies but I have used Morphic Needles at all times... I have only ever bought the hides I need for the next level and then used my other cash to flip items in the GE and did farm runs at all times. I started off with 43m cash 3 weeks ago after selling a few times and since then have got from 86 to within 900k of 99... I have 44m cash and 7k tanned hides in the bank... Basically, it doesn't need to cost you anything if you are willing to put the time into Stealing Creation and know how to flip items on the GE. Playing in a non-cmb SC clan will speed up the process big time so I would recommend that...

Flipping is never a bad idea though. Avid43
Yes, fair point. I guess all I was saying is that in the time you will spend crafting you can make the money back without doing any work whatsoever...
