Obviously they dont deserve every update, but of course they are going to get the bank pin also, and holiday events. Plus, the only time when Jagex gave free members tweaks like new bows and arrows up to adamant, it was needed to balance the game. Yes, they do need certain updates, not on a mass scale that members do though.

Point 1: Wrong. Free players do need updates. But since they don't pay, JAGeX has no reason to give them any.

But first...I'd like to address one thing everyone seems to fail to remember: Jagex does make money off of f2p. On a website as popular as RS, the adverts cost quite a bit to put on there. Obviously since Jagex takes those off on p2p servers, they earn more from memberships, but all the same: Jagex still earns a considerable amount of money from f2p. If they didn't, it wouldn't be there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For you to say that they should get rid of p2p isn't only selfish, elitist, and moronic on an ethical level; it also shows lack of any business savvy whatsoever. Hmm...not understand business...assuming that everyone has money just floating around...sounds like a spoiled little kid to me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you don't think Jagex should give f2p updates, that's fine. I know quite a few people would back you on that. But to gloat over the fact that Jagex doesn't give them one...that's just sad.
