Steel Dragons

Featured Replies

So I have about 50 Steel Dragons left to kill, dunno how I should go about it.

Should I use:

a) Brimhaven Resource Dungeon (smithing bars with sc hammer)

b) Kuradal's Dungeon (no ferocious ring yet)

c) anything else (preferably not)

and should I:

d) range (rune cbow + broad bolts I guess, unless any better suggestions)

e) melee (c rapier, whip, dunno anything else relevant)

and lastly should I:

f) Use antifires + antidragon shield (no dfs)

g) take time to stretch to another herblore level or two/boost with stew and use super antifires + defender

Or any other suggestions? I'm presumably praying melee if meleeing, not so sure on armour (bandos or proselyte). Stats below, thanks.

Melee with rapier definatly. It rips drags apart.

Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!

Kuradal's dungeon is probably still the best option due to convenience and the chance of a fero ring (you're not going to get one if you don't do tasks there). Otherwise, pray melee and use a rapier. Bandos will get you slightly faster kills, but prossy will give you longer and cheaper trips.

Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <3

Thanks, went along with Kuradal's Dungeon and Rapier. Only got 22 kills down (another 22 left), no ferocious ring but I did get dragon platelegs, an effigy, 2 teeth halves and an elite clue scroll so I guess I'll try and do that before finishing the rest (and hope for the ring).

In the time asking and waiting for response you could have killed them already. Rapier, kuradals (might get ring during task) and antifire shield.

Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)

Dagannoth kings drops: 73

Barrows item count: 51

GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)

Whips: 4

Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)

Here's the setup I use

Swap out fero for berserker until you get it. I'd definitely stew for super antifires+defender

Setup above is good. If you are using deflect melee, use monk's robes bottom instead. You may want to drain your defence level, too.

Kuradal's dungeon.

If I were you, I'd also bother lvling Herby to get the super antifires to be able to use Zammy Spear on them.

If not, a very good alternative is Rapier+DFS.

rapier>zammy spear. use the gear they said., and tbh.. get 85 herb. super antifires are amazing, always use them when slaying dragons

If you have bandos and turmoil then bandos is more efficient than prossy. Fire cape is better than ardy cape if you have it. These are just small nitpicks, nothing revolutionary but keep them in mind next task you have.

He doesn't have turmoil
