Seraphi
Well, if you really want to know, yeah, I don't like CAD at all. I basically don't think it's funny. Tim Buckley uses stale, played out jokes, a very cliche character selection (Competant best friend, absent minded main character who will invariably be a self insert character based on the author. Or what the author *wishes* he was like, and then we have the girl. That is literally the only defining quality, that she is a girl), far too many words (If you need to have 100+ words to explain the joke you're trying to get across, you are bad at comedy) and has made some horrible decisions with what he would call a "Storyline". The abortion thing being a prime example. It was not funny. It was fairly insulting to the subject material, actually. He makes a comedy webcomic, suddenly producing a comic about abortion was, and still is, a terrible idea. The fact that he tries to defend it just makes it worse. "I can put whatever I want in MY comic" pretty much sums it up. If you enjoy it, by all means, continue reading it, but, and this is just my opinion, I think CAD is one of the worst webcomics out there.

If you enjoy it, by all means, continue reading it, but, and this is just my opinion, I think CAD is one of the worst webcomics out there.Eh. I read it. Just because once I find something moderately interesting to read, I must read ALL OF IT. Unless it gets to homoerotic creepiness and/or furries, in which case I usually go "WTH?" and turn away. It's just in my nature to read, and read a LOT. If someone posts a link to the Encyclopedia Brittanica... I will not be pleased. If someone posts a link to tvtropes, that's a guaranteed plasma 'nade to the head next session. (In a sim, of course.) Oh, and on a mildly related note to this off-topic tangent, I'm planning on (maybe) making a webcomic. Maybe two... one based off my insane idea, and the other (less probable) one based on all the nutty stuff that happens here in the Tavern.

Hoping Photoshop will actually help once I manage to get off my lazy butt and scan them. Also, sorry to those who do not understand the DF quality tags. Jehosaphat
Oh, and since I was the only one posting at that time... Near the end of last session, I designed another robot - the "Scout" model. They're small, and meant for visual recon and repair in hard-to-reach places. Maybe even zergrushing if you can manage to control enough of them. Anyways, I made a few - 2 are now attached to my DF Suit, and 3 have been delivered to Earth (the player, not the planet) for use in repairs and construction. According to the AI, the amount of resources this used was negligible. So I hope I don't get in trouble for it - designs are saved to the AI in case anyone wants to build more. But, as usual, I have dibs on selling the design. Oh yeah. I renamed the model of the minibombers, too.

Jehosaphat
They can be fabricated cheaply and in batches of ten, too.Uhhh... I guess you could make the Scouts in batches of 10, but, according to the AI, you can make a crapton of them with 1 kT. (If I remember correctly...)
