If you overcame that then the heat generated from the reflection would cause imperfections, destroying the reflectivity, allowing the light to be absorbed.

Also moving a mirror at light speed poses significant problems.

Okay, the crew's captain has no authority over the Kirby. The only reason Nero was still captain was that he was a good leader, and I didn't mind following him (and he was leader originally anyways). So you can elect a new captain of the Unity, but I won't be submitting to their authority because they weren't given that authority by the supreme authority (Nero). Go admiral Nero!

 

Another alternative would be to let Jeremiah take charge, because he is second in command. Remember, ask "what would Nero do?" In my head, I get the response, "Don't have freakin elections! This is not a democracy!"

To the AI, I'll be more specific. Only Jeremiah, Jen, or Nero can move the ship. So if they bring a commander in these elections, they still can't move the ship, until I talk with them and find out that they're responsible.

Jeremiah, you'll still be a zombie until you can readjust to moving your metal husk. I personally like the comand system as is, but maybe Jen could be replaced seeing as she's more dangerous to the ship than a drugged up chipmunk with a suicide bomb and a rocket launcher.

Well, I got captured by smugglers because Echo ended up abandoning me, then sold into what I thought was slavery and then executed as a heathen. Oh, and I couldn't do anything during half of it because of some neural switch thing.

 

Oh, and the smugglers stole my suit and gear, too. So now they have the level 26 ioncannons, all my robot designs except the Themes, railguns, and plasma grenades. Arch System should have an amusing time while we're gone...

Okay, for transactions involving 20kt or less, then the general rule of thumb is kT x 1200 = Energy Credits. If the transaction is bigger, then the cost is greater, unless it is cleared far beforehand (so I can account for it in our financial planning). Also, there is no way to circumvent this with little transactions, because we'll know about it (unless you're trying to withdraw over several sessions, which is also kinda pointless, because you could just clear it with us and we can plan for it).

 

Any money will be paid to the ship fund, which we will use for upgrades. (It also helps figure out how much material is needed by the crew)

 

 

In order to facilitate this, the cargo bay resources are locked down in general except to commanding officers. (So the only withdrawals that can be made are the ones with "negligible" withdrawal cost). Once per session, you can make an exchange based on the general rule of thumb for a number of materials under 10 kt without the express permission of a commanding officer. This is so that in the rare event that Jeremiah, Nero, and I are not on, you can still build robots or something.

 

Of course, you could also donate to the ship fund in advance and we will record that, so you can use that as credit for resources. Just post on this thread so Arch knows, and we can make a tally.

 

This is just to help streamline production of whatever you need to build, so that we can still get ship upgrades with the money put in the fund. All good everyone?
