Also, it can be built without much difficulty, it's easier to make now that a prototype is in existence, the light one doesn't slow you down, rubber doesn't do anything since my weapon can punch straight through A TANK and more than half of human casualties are regardless of electrocution, and the wires move at extremely high velocity, so it's essentially impossible for an unassisted human to hit them, which wouldn't do anything anyways except cost me 10 credits.

Right now, I have quite a few little scoutbots, a couple cannons on legs, and a bunch of remote-grenade-droppers. All of which have cameras, although only one has a microphone.

 

I think that next, I'm going to make a robot that can becomes a shield/wall on command. It'd be pretty pathetic, but it'd end up being useful somehow nonetheless.

It has a fusion cutter and an anti-temper plasma charge. I'm not letting SUE have ANYTHING with weaponry.

Oh yeah, guys, by the by, I think it'd be a good idea to fit a null array on the ship hull. I designed it a couple sessions ago, and it's pretty much the ultimate shield. Nothing passes it, at all. I figure that we could put it around the engines, sensors, and anything else which gets damaged a lot, while leaving a space for weapons to fire.

 

We might need better power generators first though.

 

Another idea was a null space grenade, but tests on that proved inconclusive.

And Archi, what do you mean stop inside the shield? Would it be plausible to channel the energy from the wires into a single shot to disrupt the shield?

Nex, if you imagine the shields are like a sheet of paper, the bolt would have to stop inside the sheet of paper to 'adhere' to it.

Too much force it goes right through, too little force and it doesn't penetrate.

 

And no, channelling the power from the wires into the shield would damage the shield, but would not cause any more damage than if you just shot the energy at the shield in an Anti-Proton Beam...for example.

Retech, I suppose it could be a ship weapon. It would need some modification though, and would probably be best for small, fast ships.

No Nex, the null space array isn't the shielding on the edge suit, since it requires a lot of power to use, and suit generators can't really handle it.

 

Although if we added a null space array to the nose of the ship, ramming speed would just destroy everything we hit.

I've been going over something in my head, but the tank idea just made it a bit clearer, Gravity Cannon. fires shots that morph targetinto a gravty hotspot, crushing it and things nearby into a nice fine paste.

I already made the null grenade, which has a fixed radius of complete annihilation. Basically, a black hole, which is what the gravity grenade would do anyway.

Hey, Earth, gravity harpoon launcher. Or gravity flechettes.
