Anyways, it is possible and it shoots electricity straight forward, last time I checked some farmer was making a wireless tazer using that concept.

The laser is supposed to be set to a frequency only capable of causing bloom for the charge to pass through. And using it as a rifle (to fit large enough capacitors) you could get an output of well above a gigavolt, that going through a body would mean several kiloampere, enough to fry a person in a microsecond. This I know because at school I'm making a coilgun with four capacitors that take 100v and have a capitance of 800 microUDF, and that's enough to weld the contactor shut and after a few discharges fry it completely.

Well, I need to head back to Earth anyways. I need to get payed for a mission i did a while ago, AND i need to sell some stuff. maybe. Also, We need to improve relations with the GoP, and this will do so. Mecho's will help immensley in repairs, and we can get payed, AND we can set up a good trading relationship with them.

If you guys decide to go back to Earth, I can't stop you, but the Kirby + its cargo will be probaly remaining in Arch.

Anyways, what do you mean "require an Earth?" I was thinking of a futuristic flail of some sort.

Electricity is harmless if it does not have a complete circuit to travel through, and Earth or Grounding is a zero-voltage point, completing the circuit.

 

Ionic Disperser is a weapon that disables engines.

If they were grounded then they would probably die, if they were not then they would be barbed to two spheres...

So wait, can't you be grounded on an uncharged piece of metal? Would it be possible to ground them at a distance somehow?

It would be possible, you would just have to connect them to somewhere that the energy could disperse to afterwards. (Like static electricity)

So some of the barbs would be attached to a place for it to disperse? Is there any way I could do that with a suit?
