I've got an idea for some technologies that will revolutionize spatial guerilla warfare. Instread of trying to explain it I will provide some .skp models and screenshots.

But first, what material should I use to symbolize anti-gravity plating?

Anti-gravity plating? WHAT?

I'm designing a new line of equipment, a sort of punk rouge set specifically designed to comandeer ships.

Ah, it sounds like scare-the-crap-outta-them-and-get-them-to-surrender-in-a-heart-beat sort of thing. I'd love to see that happen. Still no idea for the anti-gravity plating. Outta curiosity, has the crew had a day to visit their loved ones or had a chance to send them a letter or whatever? If not, why? It'd be nice to let the loved ones know that we're still alive (of course this won't count towards me because Lee is an orphan. Check out my about me page from time to time, eventually you'll see that Lee is an orphan).

Mather, no. We've already discussed that we don't need to comandeer any ships. Just blow them up.

I still like to know if you guys have had a chance to see your loved ones. Wouldn't you like them to know you are still alive? Or would you rather them think you are dead?

Lee, it's the exact opposite, imagine hijacking a trailer with skateboards.

Anti-gravity plating is to make the boards lighter for levitating near gravitational wells. Though the actual levitation will be done by ion thrusters, which are perfect for light, flat things.

Ships arn't flat. Still waiting for my question to be answered.

I think my relatives got nuked with the rest of America, and if any survived that fiasco then i'm sure the russian blackholes of doom wiped out the rest. Also, Mather, forget it. It won't work.

America got nuked? :( Well, at least your relitaves weren't murdered before your very eyes and the murders left you as the soul survivor of your family. Hmmmm. I wonder which sucks more murder before your eyes or nuked in america?

Earth, that is exactly the WRONG mindset. We are heavily outnumbered, they could probably take us out in a straight fight with nothing more than a single Heavy Destroyer. If we act intelligent, for once, we could potentially add thousands of kT to our budget assuming we don't just keep the ships for our own.

 

Moving on, Jeremiah, I think we seriously need more of those TD Torpedoes. Actually, perhaps we could even use such tech to accelerate crop growth on Europa.

Nex, do you actually expect Mather to comandeer a ship with anti grav skateboards?

I started my search for a fun personal theme to keep me happy. I doubt it counts as an official theme for me but its my theme. hmmmm I should turn it into a cell ring tone.

Already on it. As my understanding is, the TD device basically ages everything in a certain radius by millions of years, so it might not be suitable for crops. It might, however, be slightly useful for terraforming and such in the near/far future.

*In a whining tone* When are we on todayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Space is the only thing on me agenda that I want to participate in!

Earth, expecting me to do it is one thing, however trained stealth soldiers could do so.

The boards are designed to be small enough to be covered by a personal cloaking device and maneuvrable enough to allow the user to place EMPs and similiar devices directly on a ship's engine (asuming it's not active) and weapons.

I'm done with the hoverboard design, it is simple but uses a method of control that should not only allow the user's suit to attach to it and control it, but also interface with it and give it biometric signals to abide by (knees bent = higher speed, etc.).

 

Now to begin designing EMPs, ultrasonic and infrasonic resonators and nanite modules (basically a Swiss knife, a reacharging module capable of carrying a few hundred nanites used to open doors and infiltrate ship systems, may be used together with a datapad to interface with a ship's computer from anywhere on the ship).

Most people didn't have any relativies...Or have cut themselves off from them before they joined their respective countries' space programs.

 

And yeah...Jeremiah's Family is probably the only ones avalible...though judging by the condition he finds himself in...he won't want to talk to them.

My character hasn't cared for that sort of relationship for a while now.

Wow. No Family, nobody to care about, no girlfriend? Wow, so its like ya'll are saying family matters are no longer around and ya'll don't really care for people. Ouchie. Even though I'm 15 (and i have a RL fiance(e) not lying) and I have no family or boyfriend in the game, I still am willing to die for everybody, 'cept for the swiss.

That's just part of who my character is.

Jeremiah's actual body died a while ago, and can't be cloned. His mind was replaced with a Swiss AI duplicate of his brain shortly afterwards.

Done making the models, they're simple, but so should the actual objects be:

Hoverboard

EMP, note USB for multiple triggering options.

Resonator, grabs hold of the ship using magnets and starts shaking to make infra-/ultrasound.

Nanite unit.
