i never get him the herbs lol i always kill him better drops like super strenght pot or super attack pots :wink:

Interesting start to a guide. I'll try to get you some info. I've never tried killing him to see what I get. maybe I'll check that out also.

Well, if you kill him you get a random reward. Giving him an herb guarentees a result of your choosing. I just need to confirm those last 6 herbs give a result or are seen as nothing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Obviously, Cadatine gives the best result. Super Restore is the best potion there is.

I don't quite understand ... if he asks for a guam, and you give, say, Irit instead, would he give you an agility potion? Or is it progressive - i.e. after you give him a guam, he'll ask for a Marrentil, and if you give him that he asks for a tarromin etc?

He asks for the highest herb you have... If you have non then he'll ask for a guam. You can just kill him for the pot you will get from him anyway...

I don't know if I'm the only one to notice this but it appears that he'll give you whatever pot the next lowest level herb from the one you gave him will make for the most part. I don't know if that is how it works exactly but it seems to be a pretty good observation. You gave him a Dwarf Weed, he gives you a Mage Potion, which is what a Lantadyme makes. And so on and so forth. Just an observation I made. Might mean everything, might mean nothing. :)

Really not a pattern per se. It does seem you get the next best pot, or at least one of them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can you believe I still have not gotten a Jekyll random since posting this guide. I even have all the other herbs in inventory to finish the test.

i got a full super restore after killing level 120 mr hyde whilest fishing

I'd still like someone to verify the goutweed and other herbs with nothing listed by them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PS: Why hasn't tip.it added this table to their Random Events? It's the only random event where you can choose your reward. Considering an avantoe can net you 7k gp potion (super restore), there's bound to be some people that would like to know that.
