October 30, 201015 yr Wow, very nice! I like the style a lot and I'm always amazed at people who can draw so nice :) I can't draw to save my life hence my standards xD If you have a goal, go for it :D Work hard, be proud and be yourself ;)
October 30, 201015 yr Drawing your own desktop is epic fun, isn't it? :D I've done that twice now myself. Two things of note stood out to me: All of the bush strokes on the leaves of the trees go in the same direction. It makes the trees look very unnatural to me. Leaves go in many different directions and that should be reflected in your brushstrokes. Also, using shorter brushstrokes after you've laid down the main colours will help imply individual leaves rather than just one large mass of colour :) And if you want to go the extra step, you could spend a few hours refining the leaves in the closest trees (or at least the very closest one which is on the right). It would be a lot of extra work but would make all the difference, I think. I'm a little unsure about the colour of the sky. It just seems like a weird colour to me - like too much green. It makes me think of smog.
