November 24, 201015 yr I was thinking I'd use Rapier for Slayer and Maul for Waterfiends and certain bosses I have fun with, like the Giant Mole.rapier is a much bigger improvement over whip than maul is over zs/ss, not to mention you shouldn't encounter waterfiends nearly as often as alot of other slayer monsters. If you aren't very serious about boss hunting all of the chaotic melee weapons are great, only difference is, rapier really excels in training/slayer. First to 99 Farming on 27. November 24, 201015 yr CLS + either of the other two weapons is redundant, Maul excels in pvp, bossing, and wfs and Crapier excels for general slayer and training; CLS is decent for most of the things mentioned but if you're getting 2 chaotics there's no reason to not get Crapier + Maul. November 25, 201015 yr Why are you getting a CLS when the rapier and maul are superior in nearly every possible situation? Unless you have a divine and do a lot of solo Bandos, you have no use for a CLS. tl;dr get rapier To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
