deathmmaster
At the moment I have been training herblore but my money has been drained to 3mil. To continue to my goal of 87, should I sell my fury and just use my glory for slayer tasks and gradually make back the money?I only lose out on the fury's +12 defence bonuses, +3 Strength bonus and +2 prayer bonus, all of which aren't the most necessary things in the world. So, should I sell my fury and continue Herbloring, or keep my fury and kill green drags/chaos dwarves for the remaining money (14mil). Aiel
you dont gain any immediate benefits from 87 over 85 other then that you don't need to get a relatively easy +4 stew bonus, so keep it. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Vulxai
A rule of thumb I go by, if you have to sell some gear, it's not worth it. Make the money until you can do it without having to sell your gear. So keep the Fury, make the money to continue herby. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~

For example, its worth it to sell bandos or claws for extremes or turmoil, but not worth it to sell a whip for it. Obtaurian
My basic rule-of-thumb is to always keep your fury. I kept mine when I was going for 90+ herblore. Best decision ever. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

If you have Bandos, I can switching to Barrows for some cash (I use barrows, works for me). ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
deathmmaster
Yeah, I sold my bandos to get from 65 herblore to 85. Verac's brassard and skirt are great replacements; extra prayer bonus helps out too! All_Is_Great
Veracs brassard kinda blows. Either use a proselyte top or a better barrow's top, like torag's or dharok's.

Curiosity
I think keeping it would be better because...: With the new nerfed Onyx prices, the fury will probably remain at a higher price, if not will probably rise.Fury is also probably the best overall amulet there is, and the bonuses are "awesome." Killing dragons for money is better, honestly. You can make up the money for herblore easily with dragons. Herblore, it won't yield you as many levels, so I doubt it. Nifflin
Both, get herblore by cleaning herbs with mousekeys. That + farming + magpies and you will be making a few 100k per hour while gaining herblore exp. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

Quyneax
That's the advantage of mousekeys. You separate the moving and clicking, which helps a bit. Though cleaning is very click-intensive, indeed.
