Cheefoo
Ewww, Runehq... Well, arcane stream necklace isn't really needed. The magic damage bonus only applies to one monster, even with multi-target spells. It might speed things up a tad, but I'd use a stole, or something with prayer bonus. Vex
I'd argue that having the Arcane Stream for the single target is valuable. Since you want to kill that last one (It'll always be one hanging on) as quick as possible, grab your charms, put the pros back on and run to the ladder to start lure again. I wouldn't worry too much about Prayer Bonus (Aside from luring gear Pros top & bottom, Neitznot/pros helm) your battle robes will last 8 hours of Rock lobs (So 4 hours with them actually on) so you'll have to leave to recharge them, before you run out of prayer from prayer pots. I'd probably still wear a RoL though, mainly for random thing's like disconnects, since the alternative's don't really provide enough benefit. Also - What you cane xpect from One recharge of Battle Robes worth. You guys are really trying to be lazy about this :P He doesn't need anything to supplement his magic though-- it's not worth going through that extra trouble for an unnecessary boost. Things would be different if the rock lobsters had higher magic defense or if multiple rock lobsters could be affected by the damage boost. With higher magic attack, you only get more exp per roundup, but they still die at the same average speed. I've done trips comparing maxed out magic and welfare magic, and the results are still the same for collecting charms. You've gotta remember that your charm collecting speed is dependent on how strong that final lobster is in the round up, because even if you kill every other lobster in 3 hits, it can still take 13 hits to kill the last one, and that's ultimately all that matters. SirIzenhime
The wolpertinger could help you kill that last one, while also giving you magic xp, while also giving you magic level boosts. Swaping 3 items and clicking call familiar is hardly a hassle. Quyneax
I bring 37 prayer bonus with 4 items for luring (sw cape, stole, proselyte plate, falador shield 3). With his current setup, that'd be his prayer bonus when luring, which is plenty. Since boots of lightness are really unneccesary and battle robes won't outlast the prayer supplies anyway, you might as well max magic offence. Dragonlordjl
I prefer fury over a stole for luring, because the +15 defense makes a fairly big difference when there are Wallis/88 Dags on you while luring the last two lobs. I use Arcane Stream because it helps kill the last lob faster, and it also helps me kill 88 dags faster if one wanders up and gets on me while I am currently targeting lobs. Definitely use a RoL--- the rock lobsters are quite inaccurate and hit at dart speed, so chances are that if you misclick after luring 9 of them you will take massive damage but have a decent chance of the RoL saving you. I use a mage's book just because. I plan to sell it when I get all the charms I need. I'd use a tome of frost if I had one, but I don't so meh. I use infinity boots, although mystic are an ample substitute. Lightness Boots are unnecessary here-- at 72 agility I never come close to running out of energy while luring.
