Sy_Accursed
It's all subjective to play style: In a team maul is win, solo its aweful (if u solo alot get a 2h) As for 2nd bind:Teaming alot shadowsilk hood is obvious godSoloing usually you are better off getting a plate body for defence, but shadow silk can still be an option Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Maxx1m
I'd say bind a plate until you get a SSH drop, assuming you haven't already. Currently working on..

SpikeStr1ke
what does a ssh do?While wearing the shadow silk hood, you are invisible to any humanoids who are not mages or bosses. green9090
Ditch maul for prom 2h (which, contrary to what someone else said, is better than a maul whether you're in a team or solo), and bind a platebody. When you find a shadow silk hood, ditch platebody for that. It is not always better, as I stated before. It is a proven and known fact having a mauler on a team is helpful. Their attack rate is slow but they hit HARD even compared to a 2h. I haven't given any false info and stats have no bearing on what you can and can't know. There this wonderful thing called READING and WATCHING which means via various rs players research, youtube videos and higher level friends in the skill you can learn things without experiencing them yourself. People have shown having a mauler on team can be useful due to massive hits. Most specifically on bosses that need meleeing and high level forgotten warriors. It is by no means a necessity or necessarily a better choice, but it is never the less proven to be useful and atleast on par with 2h as long as only 1 player does it and its on a team. green9090
Show me this "proof." There aren't enough crush-weak monsters for maul to be worthwhile unless you're still on ice floors. Their attack rate is slow but they hit HARD even compared to a 2h.What? who proved that? as far as i've seen proof of a multi-weaponed team equations, maul, warhammer and dagger are always obsolete no matter what, while spear and longsword are usually obsolete aswell. Basically, what you want is a weapon with two attack styles being able to use berserker, and that can only be achieved by 2h, battleaxe and rapier. First to 99 Farming on 27. Aslan
I had primal maul bound for about 3 hours until I found someone with high enough smithing to make me a prometh 2h.Won't regret doing this aswell.
