Viable method to 99 farming

Recommended Posts

I want 99 farming in about 3-4 months, and i'm not too worried about the price, as it will be spread over a decent amount of time, and i can always camp frosts for.... a day and make a month's worth of overhead.

so, what would be a good run, and what will get me the best exp to complete this in a decent amount of time?

Maples, papayas and calquats + herb runs provide around 100k exp per day. And one day of farming only costs about 600k, last time I checked anyway.

Herb runs will easily cover that, so you're basically getting it for free.

If you do herb runs, it might be a wise investment to get the Scroll of Life and juju potions.

Yep. That's actually what I'm doing, the problem is I'm afraid I won't get enough herb runs to cover the tree seeds. Ah well, I have other ways of making money.

Speaking of money, if you do MTK put 10 on herbs and 5 on maples. You'll get some nice nests, and if you get and palm, yew, or later magic and spirit be sure to use them.

You must construct additional oak larders doors... I mean pylons

Barrows: 10. Total value~22.3 mil. Ahrim Robeskirt is currently the item I have received the most.

So do you do one full run, one without fruit trees, and lots and lots of herb runs?

Well, you can only get 100k per day with this method if you can manage 3 maple tree runs. One in the morning, one after school/work and one before bed. And of course the fruit trees/calquat as well.

And if you can, do herb runs every 90 minutes or in between slayer tasks.

For the specifics on how to do runs, check out my AoW guide: http://forum.tip.it/topic/242787-mother-gaia-an-in-depth-manual-to-farming/

Personally I recommend 2-3 tree runs +1 fruit tree/calquat run per day with as many herb runs as you can throw in. I'd say maples/pineapples if you don't want to spend too much money, and see how much you're willing to spend from there.

agreed with this, but palms are cheaper xp over papaya than maples are over willows. do at least palms + maples + calquats. consider doing yews (supercompost, no payment) instead of maples

Farm as much torstol as you can, as it's pretty good xp and very good cash. Use juju potions. Get a scroll of life as well, in any case.

This is what i did for 99, Cost me 40m a few years back, I reccomend farming dwarf weed seeds for the xp and a bit of profit.

Also if your running low on cash switch to a more profitable herb + pinapples.

Dwarf weed really sucks tbh, torstol is more xp and more cash.

I might add that farming torstol all the way will get you hundreds of millions of gp, but it'll take about 200 days from 85 with 5 runs a day or so. You can of course add bushes/pineapples/oaks etc. for really cheap xp, but I'd personally recommend torstol only.
